“raising a family is not easy here. Doing business is not easy here”

All by design because commies believe they should be in complete control of both....freedom and independence is despised.

Great burger joint. We will certainly welcome them to SW Pennsylvania where we have an appreciation of good food AND conservative politics.

“revealed this week the company plans to move eastward and she is relocating her family to Tennessee”

Just like a lot of us Christians who had had enough of CA and moved to TN. She’ll be happier here, and even more successful.

...relocating her family to Tennessee.

I hope its not Memphis or Nashville. Memphis' main commerce areas and anywhere around the airport are a straight dangerous place. The first shocking evidence that caught my eye was how many banged up cars are on the freeways / roads. I'd estimate that one out of 10 cars is driving with smashed up front ends and side panels. I came upon a wreck that had happened seconds earlier. Car parts all over the place. People still in their cars. One gas station on Elvis Presley blvd had the trash cans chained to the pumps to prevent theft. Needles and drug baggies and hair weave pieces on the service lot areas. *shiver.

Didn’t California pass a law that allowed the state to continue to tax these companies, billionaires, and millionaires that flee the state?

.....relocating her family to Tennessee....

I lived in Tennessee about 13 years. Excuse me if I don't get all misty eyed about another Kalifornia billionaire moving to a purpleish on-its-way-to-blue state. She's moving to Franklin. Back in the day was solid conservative. But close enough to Nashville to stink of liberals.

I drove by new HQ yesterday in Franklin

Making progress

The fast food unit on site looks different

Berry Farms has codes to be wooden looking and gables and stuff

She can join Nashville growing list of billionaires

Was Frist and Ingram and Massey only for a long time

Texas can reach Memphis on a stretch

The Franklin TN distribution will reach

Birmingham
Atlanta
Knoxville
Louisville Lexington
Evansville
Tupelo north Miss

This is how they do it

Plant one and branch out around it usually 250 mile radius

The governor had a famously hands-off approach to the pandemic.

Not true.

Newsom shut down California's restaurants right before he and his buddies went to the $200/plate French Laundry in Napa and ate inside. Newsom also closed down the schools, we were told "two weeks"- which turned into a year.

Many restaurants did not recover - my California town is full of empty restaurants closed during COVID that never re-opened.

a report last year that revealed from 2020 to 2024 over 500 companies had either left California or opted to expand their operations elsewhere.

Good going Newsom, as businesses and productive citizens flee to Tennessee, Texas and Florida with their tax dollars.

Maybe you can tax those illegals you favor so much - and just gave $12B worth of free Medi-cal to.

As for the $20 minimum wage for Fast Food workers that will "help them enter the middle class" - according to Newsom:

A report from March 2025 indicated that California lost 16,000 fast food jobs since the passage of the wage law.

What happens when you either ignore or do not understand Economics 101 - the non-Marxist version.

Every fast food joint we go into in California now uses Kiosks for ordering.

Yep. They are building a huge complex just 6 miles from me.

In front of the property they have already started on the first TN restaurant.

Boy, the lines will be long.

A lot of companies have left California going back to the early 2,000’s. A lot of small businesses. But the media ignores it while cheerleading for the marxists that run that state.
