Although there are supposedly many on the visitor list who have that kind of money, eg, Gates, Buffet, Brin and Page, etc.
Not either-or proposition. Wyden is a straight guy, there's no need for "Dems" to "get their rears covered", Epstein is a bipartisan, multinational disaster with friends and enemies in every faction - and a billion in cash from a single account should merit a look.
Epstein was a billionaire, so what is suspicious? A billion bucks from over 4k transfers doesn’t surprise me. Am I missing something?
I think that, theoretically, Epstein handled investments from very rich people around the world. This work, theoretically, allowed Epstein to amass a personal fortune.
But, IIRC, there is almost no evidence of Epstein actually handling anyone’s money, or making any trades, or having any financial clients. He just magically had a billion dollars and a lot of very rich friends. It’s considered a bit mysterious. There was a cash flow, obviously. But why people gave him money isn’t exactly clear.
He was running a global bribery under age sex operation.
People gave him money.
