Right-wing activist Laura Loomer warned that President Donald Trump’s handling of the investigation into Jeffrey Epstein threatens to “consume his presidency” in an interview on Wednesday, a dramatic rebuke from a presidential confidante that illustrates the growing rupture in the MAGA coalition.
She likened it to the intense media interest in ties between Trump’s first White House campaign and Russia, saying “I don’t want it to consume his presidency.”
“Obviously, this is not a complete hoax given the fact that Ghislaine Maxwell is currently serving 20 years in prison in Florida for her crimes and activities with Jeffrey Epstein, who we know is a convicted sexual predator,” Loomer told POLITICO. “This is why I said, and I’ll reiterate it again, the best thing that the president can do is appoint a special counsel to handle the Epstein files investigation.”

All of the accomplishments of Trump in this first six months has driven the left to desperate measures. We need to focus on all of those successes and realize that obsessing over this stupid issue (Epstein) is just giving them what they want. Let’s not do that. Ever.

IMHO, re Epstein & Gal, investigation and prosecution focus, should be upon the federal, state, and local: politicians, judges, government attorneys, and law enforcement agencies/agents . . . who took steps to block discovery of, and prosecution for, their actions that effectively protected not only Epstein & Gal, but many other sexual and drug activity venues that existed since before WW-II and still exist.
Focus should be on The Swamp.

My belief is that government is going to have a LOT of complications from this case if too much is released to the public. Epstein and Maxwell didn’t specifically target underage girls. Most of the young women were adults, but young, and just a few were underage. Which, of course warrants a full investigation, even if some of them lied about their age. But tapes were likely not dated, or maybe they were. You tape a sexually explicit tape of someone you simply cannot release that tape to the public or you become immediately liable. If you discredit or publicly “ruin” someone who legally had sex with another adult by releasing a so called “list” you become liable again. Some I think democrats like Comey have tampered with the available evidence as well, the opportunity to do so was there during Biden’s administration. It’s a mess. I’ll trust Trump on this.
