Tucker Carlson's advocacy for nicotine has ignited a fresh debate, fueled by his promotion of ALP, a new nicotine pouch brand. Carlson claims nicotine enhances mental acuity and relaxation, citing his own daily use since June 2018.
Tucker Carlson recently appeared on The Real Alex Clark YouTube channel and sparked yet another viral debate, not over politics, but over nicotine.
The former Fox News host, launched into an impassioned defense of the controversial compound while promoting ALP, his new nicotine pouch brand. During the sit-down with Alex Clark, he called nicotine “the only compound ever analyzed by scientists that simultaneously increases mental acuity and relaxation.”

And now, he wants the rest of the world to stop demonizing it.
Carlson’s new brand, ALP, isn’t shy about what it stands for. It was launched in late 2024 in partnership with Turning Point Brands, specifically targeting adults who “unapologetically love nicotine.” Available in various flavors and three strengths (3 mg, 6 mg, and 9 mg), ALP is marketed as a more honest, more masculine alternative to other brands.

Except for that pesky addiction thing, nicotine is great!
And the fact it is a deadly poison
Yep, there are lots of harmful effects from nicotine use, especially long-term use. This is just more proof that Tucker Carlson is an idiot.
$$$$$$$$ FOR TUCKER.
I don’t care if Carlson takes nicotine. That’s his problem
You typically can’t produce daily news shows, with all the work that goes into them, without being on something. Taking nicotine is not the worse to be on.
My sister gave me a menthol cigarette when I was 15. The Nicotine hit my brain like a runaway train and it only took me 40 years to break that grip in spite of using many available ways to quit it. Young folks thinking about consuming the latest “in drug” should read what happened to Karen Ann Quinlan before they try it.
Rather be hooked on nicotine pouches than alcohol, weed, sugar,or carbohydrates.
You are addicted to Tucker Carlson. He lives rent free in your Zeeper half a brain.
You make me like him more and more.
Apparently... More addictive than heroin.
I myself have been addicted since I was 14 years old... But I get my fix through cigarettes. Some people say caffeine is addictive too, but I don’t subscribe to that... I was having rapid heartbeats at age 38 which a cardiologist diagnosed as PSVT... He said quit smoking and quit drinking coffee... I quit the coffee with no withdrawal symptoms whatsoever and the PVST disappeared. Didn’t drink a coffee for about 8 years after that before I started up again. But I only have two or three cups a day... Not ten.
Never have quit the smokes... But so far so good... 63 and I’m still relatively healthy. I’m hoping I have my father’s genes... He smoked until the day he died at age 87.
Tucker stronk nicotine pimp!
Ha! Was just reading about the benefits of nicotine yesterday- got out my old nicotine patches. (Several, years old. Probably ho good now lol)
Was curious about how it might affect brain fog, something I suffer from terribly, which makes it diffilcult to concentrate and is aggravating to deal with.
Supposedly nicotine is not, dangerous by itself in moderate use, but like anything, heavy use can be detrimental.
Tucker seems to be going nuts lately so maybe nicotine all day long isn’t a great idea.
I had pretty strong withdrawals from caffeine- but certainly not as bad as quitting nicotine for sure. T4ied many many years to quit smoking- finally quit... too late. Got copd and emphysema from smoking. But have quit for 11 years now- glad I did. Have saved enough money to buy things like computers, vehicle parts like tires, exhaust, etc, clothes etc. Never could afford any of that when I smoked.
At least smoking a cigarette looks kind of cool , this is just lame.
My doc told me they are now using nicotine to kill some cancers.
I started at 17. Back then it was ‘Kool’ to smoke Kools. Switched to Marlboro Reds and tried to quit countless times - cold turkey, chewing gum, nicotine gum, patches.... nothing worked (except the 1st 2 weeks of BMT until the TI said “smoke ‘em if you’ve got ‘em”,).
After 20 years of 2-3 packs a day I woke up one morning and said ‘No more’. Haven’t had one since.
The urge hits once in a while, and I do threaten to start again to lose weight, but I find something to do and take my mind off it.
Who says he’s not back on drugs? Had suspected, and posted, he was likely on something for a while. He’s gone off the deep end and had to unsub him.
Lol…. Plenty of high functioning alcoholics never miss days of work….
