Last year Clark was the recipient of 25% of the called flagrant fouls in the WNBA. Not much has changed. The league seems to want to hurt her and it seems to be more than just the players.
Hard to have any sympathy for someone who asked for it. CC is a good marketer.
Residuals though. my granddaughters play AAU and we hear a lot about “privilege “ We dread games against black players with black refs. A player from E St Louis called my 6th grade white g daughter a “n***er” and roughed her up. (Think Sophie Cunningham meeting elbow all game. No calls)

The only reason CC became CC is because she grew up in Iowa.
Interesting enough, there's a good number of Europeans in the NBA. Luka Dončić and Nikola Jokić. Finally, there's one white American player and he's from Maine (Cooper Flagg)

I watched this game, first WNBA game I ever watched. It was run down the court, get fouled and shoot free throws. Not totally but it was something I noticed. Oh and Caitlin hurt her groin again by just mis-stepping. She just kindda stumbled and sometimes thats all it takes. I don’t know about the original injury. I ripped my forearm muscle one just pulling cloths out the dryer.
Over all it was kindda fun to watch. I’ll watch again.
CC is the only player worth watching. Otherwise, I'll tune out.
I recognize that the WNBA probably won't care because they're still getting subsidized by the NBA.

I would love for the nba to stop subsidizing them. Would shut it all down immediately.
I hope Clark did well with her major, because she will be needing to use it sooner than later.

A little in high school. Where I got my lumps was as the goalkeeper for a small private high school playing much larger public schools from the inner city. It wasn't for wimps.
These women are out for Clark, while she brings in the money. Physical play is one thing, attacking a person to cause injury while pretending it's just a game is another. It's bad for business too.
