US President Donald Trump’s fresh tariff threat for Russia’s allies has not gone down well with China, with the latter hitting out at America’s ‘coercion’ tactics. China has expressed strong disapproval on Tuesday regarding the United States' pressure tactics, following President Donald Trump's warning of "very severe" tariffs against Russia's remaining trade partners if the Ukraine conflict remains unresolved within 50 days.

"China firmly opposes all illegal unilateral sanctions and long-arm jurisdiction. There are no winners in a tariff war, and coercion and pressure will not solve problems," Chinese foreign ministry spokesman Lin Jian has said according to an AFP report.

From a country that imposes its own gov’t controlled, elaborate tariffs and restrictions, and provides absolutely no patent protections, they should not be squawking.

Their response means that the tariffs will solve problems...and will be very damaging to them. Always turn what the communist Chinese say around 180 degrees..

President Trump has just executed the best act of political ju jitsu that any of us are likely to see in our life times.

In one fell swoop he has shut down the US piggy bank for Ukraine and effectively Europeanized the war in Ukraine. It's their tar baby now and the Europeans get to pay for it.

The best part is that they will pay for that war by buying from America.

Under the new agreement between 1-2% of EU GDP is going to go to the purchase of US weapons to help fund our military rebuild and obtain far greater economies of scale and lower costs for US weapons production .

These NATO weapons purchases are , of course, part of a NATO military rebuild and are this separate and on top of any additional EU spending to buy weapons to give to the Ukraine (which is probably going to be minimal) to keep their war going in the Ukraine

One of the very few products that the US can quickly sell to the EU to balance trade deficits is US weapons. And it's not like the EU is going to levy tarriffs on US arms that they are buying.

And while the Trump secondary tariff threat looks on the surface like it is targeted to countries like India and China, the tariffs are really going to devastate the EU economy - especially for Germany, Fiance, Great Britain, Belgium and other EU countries that, along with China, have been sabotaging the Trump peace initiatives and who have been pushing Zelensky to fight on to the last Ukrainian soldier and the last American funded Patriot missile system .

Plus any restrictions on Russian oil and gas may or may not impact Russia but they will really help further Trump's agenda to make the US a major supplier of oil and natural gas to the EU

And best of all, the attempts by President Trump's enemies, foreign and domestic , to suck Trump into a disaster in Ukraine and blame him for Ukraine's downfall are pretty much short circuited

Ending the war in Ukraine is now very high on the list of priorities of China, France, Great Britain, Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands, Spain, Italy and a bunch of other malicious actors who have been working overtime to keep the war in Ukraine rolling.

This agreement is a mixed bag for Russia but it's a poison pill for the Western and Chinese war mongers and their desire to extend their Ukrainian proxy war.

Congrats to Team Trump for a master stroke political move to end the Ukraine war and really help implement the MAGA agenda and help rescue the struggling Biden blighted American economy in the process.

Captain B. H. Liddell Hart somewhere is smiling

Gotta love how CCP throws around the work “illegal” — playing to their paid toadies in the US.

Legality only applies when both parties have signed an agreement. Not some corrupt bureau in the UN proclaiming that “such&such” is illegal.

Basically, DC wants to move into the Blackrock rebuilds Ukraine and the Uke army phase, so we can be free to pivot to menace China better. So to pressure Russia, we are going to put big tariffs on China, so they will pressure Russia to cease fire, so we can be free to pressure China more.

DC logic at it’s finest.

Blackrock shut down it's Ukraine reconstruction fund that was based on US government backed reconstruction funding literally the day President Trump was elected Bottom line,

Team Trump has won on Ukraine and people like Lindsey Graham are getting in line to support President Trump. The Iran nuclear attack seems to have sealed the deal for President Trump. After that, everything changed

“Always turn what the communist Chinese say around 180 degrees”

Definitely. Also DC, the EU, NATO, and especially London.

Sure... Blackrock is not going to be involved in that land rush bonanza. Look, they even shut down their fund! Trump hasn’t won on Ukraine. He is deepening our involvement for no discernable reason. Graham isn’t getting in line, he hasn’t changed his position one iota. Trump has come around to Graham’s position.

I'm quite sure that Blackrock is going to be a major player in the rebuilding of Ukraine - just not with US taxpayer dollars subsidizing the operation.

As it should be.

Trump just flipped the script on most of the people who were maneuvering to ambush him with their Ukraine trap and Lindsey is one of ambushers who just got caught in his own trap. Trump just punked him worse than the time Trump gave out Lindsey's personal phone number in a presser.

In the press conference Between President Trump and NATO Sec Gen Mark Rutte, everyone was all smiles and back slapping but I could distinctily hear Julie Andrews singing in the background
