Donald Trump reveals exactly how many times Vladimir Putin sabotaged Ukraine peace deal

Donald Trump has claimed Russian President Vladimir Putin sabotaged a Ukraine peace deal four times. But the US President also said he was pleased with the progress made to increase NATO defence spending.

Speaking in a frank interview with the BBC’s Gary O’Donoghue, Mr Trump said he had been close to brokering a ceasefire on multiple occasions, only for fresh Russian attacks to derail progress each time. The White House had contacted the BBC minutes before the conversation to say Mr Trump was ready to speak - underscoring the urgency he appeared to attach to the issue.

Mr Trump said: "I’m disappointed—I’m not done with him, but I’m disappointed in him. We had a deal done four times, and then you go home and you see just attacked a nursing home or something in Kyiv. I said: 'What the hell was that all about?'"

More pro ukraine, anti russian propagada.....

How about just pushing for U.S. boots on the ground fighting against russia, as some ukraine bros have suggested...

I know... even better. With your support for escalation in arms for attacking russia, how soon will you all be pushing for tactical nukes for zelensky?

“Donald Trump reveals exactly how many times Vladimir Putin sabotaged Ukraine peace deal”

Actually BOTH sides have to agree to have a ‘peace deal’, even if General Kellogg seems to think differently.

Trump had a peace agreement that both zelenski and putin were about to agree to.....

Then the conman zelensky showed his true colors, that he’s never been interested in a peace deal, by sending drone attacks to destroy several russian airbases and other installations.

Now the ukraine bros are all pushing for offensive arms for zelensky to attack putin with, putting U.S. or EU troops in ukraine so they can ‘defend’ themselves if they get incidentally attacked by russia....

And some have said if ukraine had nukes, russia wouldn’t be attacking....

“Trump had a peace agreement that both zelenski and putin were about to agree to.....”

I doubt they were anywhere near close to a peace deal, considering the public statements from both sides. But if a 30-day cease fire is considered a ‘peace deal’, then that could have been the case. The Neocons obviously wanted an unconditional cease fire, so that they could re-arm, re-position, and re-build their Ukrainian Proxy units, along with European ground troops coming in (per their promises) - Putin didn’t want a the deal because he would get sent to the gulag if he agreed to it, and replaced by a hard-liner.

So it would have a been a conditional cease fire...pretty much everything would freeze on the battlefield. The Neocons didn’t like that plan, so nothing agreed to.

As to a REAL peace plan, like the one that ended WW2, nothing is close there as it would require major border revisions. The Neocon preference is to keep the killing going on, rather than fully end the war - they’ve made that clear, over and over.

He cuts a deal with Putin, and Putin screws him four times?

Yikes.

I guess Trump is kind of scared of taking on Putin.

What ended WWII was unconditional surrender, which is what Putin has always wanted. Neither Putin, nor apparently you, have any interest in a negotiated settlement that preserves Ukraine as an independent, sovereign country.

Link please. When has Putin called for Ukraine’s ‘unconditional surrender’?

IMHO, neither side is willing to stop until they get all they want. The US should only sell arms into the mess.

Thru history, the Russians have never proven themselves capable of being trustworthy.

Lying and deceit are in their blood.

That is their reputation and it is because it is deserved. Ukrainians are no better though. Zelensky and Putin have pulled enough stunts to sour any deals. Neither wants a cease fire. That wil not end the hating they have for each other.

Why are we on either side? Let them fight it out. If the bad guy wins the he will continue to trouble until he runs into the wrong country. If that is us then Americans will fight for America.

If your country’s leader wants war, then your people do the fighting. First thing these warmonger leaders do is try to involve and use other country’s leaders, soldiers, money, planes, missiles, etc.etc.etc.
