Maxwell argues she should have been protected from prosecution as part of a Non Prosecution Agreement made by Epstein - her former lover and boss - in 2007 when he agreed to plead guilty to two minor charges of prostitution in a 'sweetheart deal' which saw him spend little time behind bars.
And now, controversy continues to rage over the Department of Justice's statement that there is no Epstein 'client list' and the release of videos from inside New York's Metropolitan Correctional Center which the DOJ says proves he committed suicide in 2019 while being held in jail on sex trafficking charges.
Critics have pointed to the fact that there is a crucial minute missing from the jail house video that also does not show the door or, indeed, the inside of Epstein's jail cell.
The scandal - and alleged 'cover up' - has prompted a rebellion amongst President Trump's loyal MAGA base. Some even believe Attorney General Pam Bondi should be fired after promising to release all files relating to Epstein and his high-profile male friends only to apparently renege on that promise.
On Saturday night, President Trump posted a rebuttal to accusations of a cover-up on social media site Truth Social saying: 'For years, it's Epstein, over and over again. Why are we not giving publicity to files written by Obama, Crooked Hillary, Comey, Brennan and the losers and criminals of the Biden administration?'
The Epstein 'cover-up' was also a main topic of conversation among attendees of this weekend's Student Action Summit in Tampa, Florida, hosted by the conservative group Turning Point USA , an organization many credit with rallying Trump's young base before last year's presidential election.
Sharon Allen, an attendee, told NBC News: 'It's not even about Pam Bondi to me.

I saw that. Spicer I think it was had everyone thi king, myself included, that Alan said client list-

Me too. And I’ve thought about it - Trump is by no means stupid or politically naive. I mean he beat the Bush and Clinton dynasties and the Obama cabal. And he is decimating The Left. He is well aware of what will fly politically and what won’t.
Hence, there is NO WAY he thought people would stop talking about Epstein when he said he wished people wouldn’t talk about Epstein. So something else is at play - perhaps deals made for political gains (he has a huge agenda he is implementing that is far more than one issue). Perhaps baiting the left into forcing the Espein stuff out to “get Trump” so then the release doesn’t look like a MAGA stunt.
I don’t know. But I know Trump is smart, so like you I am trusting him.

We have the right to demand that which they promised to provide. I am not the one that made that commitment.
It is all really quite simple:
Those whose names are on their list, or have friends whose names are on the list want it kept secret for obvious reasons.
Those who AREN’T on the list don’t want it made public because, then, their ability to blackmail those who ARE on it will quickly fade away.
That was the benefit of a law the Hochul specifically put into place to get Trump E Jean made up her story. Got a kangaroo court to agree with her. Trump still wound President cause the country isn’t Manhattan

I never said who was involved outside that of our intelligence agencies. That information was verified in the Palm Beach prosecution, sentencing, and cleanup done on Epsteins trial and conviction in the case prosecuted there about 15 years ago.
You are incorrect. There was never any legally reputable evidence Epstein was involved with any intelligence agencies.
Bondi was asked that exact question—whether Epstein worked for any intelligence agency—at the last cabinet meeting.
She said she did not know the answer but she would get back to the reporter.

Yes. Agreed. Their are vast fortunes of money and influence to be realized up to and even after those involved are dead and gone by not divulging their involvement. But.... how is that much different than the operation itself? Pretending the integrity and reputation of the state smells better than the rot they were up to just doesn’t wash in my opinion.
