Moar gas from Rrhoiders...
I guess 25% of the Patriots left isn’t low enough for Trump.
But I suspect it’s low enough for China, Iran, and many other countries.
and if EU declines?
I’m against this. We’re supposed to be for America First, not draining military supplies for other countries(the ol’ Democrat trick).
Trump is agreeing to allow Germany to transfer German Patriot systems to Ukraine and then for the US to sell replacement Patriot systems to Germany at the foreign buyers purchase price which just happens to be quite a bit over twice the price the US military pays for the system
Some of this premium price goes to RTX and some goes to the US government to recover some of the US costs of Patriot system development.
“I’m against this. We’re supposed to be for America First, not draining military supplies for other countries(the ol’ Democrat trick).”
I’m still at a loss to see why ending the Ukraine War and instead building up our military to be ready to deal with China, if need be, is such a bad thing. It’s almost like these clowns obsessed with Ukraine actually want to CEDE THE PACIFIC to China, which is what will end up happening if we get drawn-in to Ukraine much deeper.
As it is, now Taiwan or Japan or some other FRIEND of the United States won’t be getting that Patriot System and instead it will spend a month or so in Ukraine before getting destroyed, like the rest of them that we sent there.
” and then for the US to sell replacement Patriot systems to Germany”
I couldn’t give a crap about the money as we can print whatever we need. But I do care about the fact that we’re pushing are actual ALLIES, like Japan, South Korea, and other countries to the back of the line when it comes to getting Patriots, even though they BADLY need them, giving how threatening China is becoming.
President Trump refused to take Putin’s call today, too. Too funny.
Not much has changed in this dept since Biden..more of the same...
Do we even have any left?
You didn't refuse to service Little Zee's posterior port today. Too funny.
Hopefully Trump will optimize economic sanctions against Russia and those that trade with Russia such as the BRICs nations. He will need to run a fine line to ensure that tariffs don’t produce US inflation.
Trump will need to make up any deficiencies incurred by shipping defensive weapons to Russia. But Trump as the consummate businessman will see that US doesn’t bear most of the costs.
Putin is an idiot. Russia doesn’t have the demographic or economic capability to sustain a war of long duration .
War doesn’t work. Putin doesn’t understand that.
The 25% number being circulated is based on recent Pentagon upward revisions of how many missile systems are needed based on our recent Ukraine and Middle East experience.
The good news is that is that it seems that Trump has finally pretty much beaten down the Zelensky / EU / US Uniparty war coaition and it looks like Zelensky has been given the word by Lindsey Graham that it's time to face reality and stop demanding crazy terms from Russia and accept realistic proposals from Putin.
Until Team Ukraine faces reality, there really is nothing to negotiate between the Ukraine and Russia.
Now Trump is also putting public pressure on Putin come to an agreement as well.
A lot of this public posturing is carefully scripted and stage managed and it would not be surprising if Putin was helping write the script.
I suspect that progress will be made in the near future. Some times you have to take the long and tortuous path to get from where you are to where you want to be.
Ok, Trump hating troll.
Unless somebody has another citation, it’s still only 10 of Biden’s originally planned 30 interceptors.
Certainly not a game changer.
Ones we've yet to produce?
That 25% figure is from an unnamed source.
When asked about the Patriot missile stockpile, Lt. Col. Bryon McGarry said “We’re not going to discuss specific stockpile numbers or operational details, but our forces remain fully equipped, fully ready, and globally postured to respond to any challenge. Ongoing assessments of our capabilities are routine and reflect responsible planning, not shortfall. Readiness isn’t in question—it’s ensured.”
Chief Pentagon Spokesman said "the U.S. military has what it needs to fight and win any mission, anywhere, anytime,”
I've notice a flood of information from unnamed source over the past week saying that Trump is bad.
And enough people here buy into it.
Basically anyone who hasn’t figured out that we’ve EMPTIED OUR STOCKS has no idea as to what was going on for the past 3 years. I followed it, sending people around the world to try to find Patriots and that was under Biden, when he treated our own military hardware reserves just as he treated the Strategic Petroleum Reserve, as something to be consumed in the present, not stored for a bad day or a major war.
We are SPENT and the 25% number makes PERFECT SENSE when one considers the rate they were sent to Ukraine, versus the dribble-rate that they were produced, and still are produced, and the mindset of the Biden people, who even made South Korea give up their 155’s - they were SINGLE-FOCUSED and that focus was on dragging out the Ukraine War as long as possible (they knew they couldn’t ‘win’ it, pretty much from the start).
