The budget for ICE has been ZERO increases since that department's inception. YEARS !

This latest bill passing has FINALLY approved increases in ICE.

HUGE increases in ICE funding for manpower and equipment.

There is no magic wand. There IS incremental improvements.

The latest judicial stay doesn’t apply because ICE doesn’t do those things? WHAT!!

The latest judicial stay is just California posturing by a district court judge.

As long as ICE has a valid warrant that they are executing (such as an final order of deportation by an immigration court), the stay doesn't apply.

If a crowd forms and starts to riot and throw bricks, rocks, and fireworks at ICE while they are executing that warrant, the stay no longer applies as ICE is now free to arrest the people who are obstructing their lawful execution of the warrant. Once those people are arrested, investigating their identities and immigration status is perfectly legal.

Trump isn’t really for mass deportations, in case you haven’t picked up on that by now. He’s or amnesty and so has charged her (and Tom) with dramatic and theatrical arrests of “bad hombres” instead of a systematic approach to getting them all out of the country.
