From rice farming to hypersonic propulsion. How did the Chicoms do that? Their kids are learning calculus while we teach our kids gender nonsense. And stealing our tech.

I never considered that before; but, it does settle out pretty far down the Periodic Table and not very far from lead.

Obviously there is. And obviously it doesn’t have to be 9Gs.

Top photo: None of the people in the lower left corner look remotely Chinese.
As for the rest: Meh. Build it, fly it, and stay within noise regs while you’re at it.

..delta wing at slow speeds and swept wings at hyperspeeds......Tooling about at max cruise is the easy part.
Getting to/from max cruise is the happy land of "All you have to do is..." where the weary throng of engineers labor to make the grand dreams of others become a bit closer to fact.
Been retired from that business for long enough now that I don't even feel sorrow when I see one of these click bait media announcements.

Agreed. Every time I hear about drones, all I can think about is a 30KT crosswind component and IFR conditions.

I have several hundred hours in the MU-2. Transition phases of flight are real squirrely. Don’t blink too long.

It’s commonly held that flying is 99% boredom/1% pure panic.
If you’re into Night Carrier Landings those numbers will vary.
