That’s some good living she has going there.

There’s some sort of unstated drug or mental health problem here.

The ‘cost’ of having an adult child back home would be the additional groceries and utilities consumed by an additional person.

If that ‘child’ is earning $0.00; maybe they are also covering that ‘child’s’ debt also, such as car and student loan payments.

On the extreme outside; maybe $2,000.00 per month; but not $5,000.00.

There's a big difference between her being on the street - and spending $5000 per month to maintain your daughter's entitled lifestyle.

We had three boys. When they graduated from high school, we broke their plates. All three joined a branch of the military. Army became a civilian Fire Department Captain/EMS, Air Force (now retired and doing the same type job as a civilian) and Navy State Prison correctional officer. They all have their own families.
