The Trump administration has resumed sending some weapons to Ukraine, a week after the Pentagon had directed that some deliveries be paused.

The weapons now moving into Ukraine include 155 mm munitions and precision-guided rockets known as GMLRS, two U.S. officials told The Associated Press on Wednesday. They spoke on condition of anonymity to provide details that had not been announced publicly.

I was on board with bombing Iran. Tehran should be next.

But Ukraine, no.

Not our fight.

I did. From the start. That's why I voted for the man.

Three times. And I still support him.

I just don't agree with this.

How much more is that ungrateful little Ukrainian weasel going to soak us for?

Just postponing the inevitable defeat for Ukraine. With many more lives and billions of taxpayers dollars wasted.

It'll take Russia 70 years at this rate to capture all of Ukraine.

Realistically, Russia can fight for another 10 years.

Ukraine will hold out for another 10 years.

And if you noticed, President Trump did NOT release the Patriots or the air-to-air missiles. He is being very deliberate in his actions.

I’m sure he is. Billions have flowed from here to there.

No end in sight for a war that has nothing to do with us.

You know as well as I do this has been going on between these two countries before there was ever a United States and will continue to go on.

Three years 9 out of 10 Americans had never hear of Ukraine and overnight it became the symbol of a ‘’fight for freedom’’.

That’s a steaming pantload and you know it.

The shooting needs to stop on both sides and then the rest can be sorted out in negotiations.

Yes.

It should never have come to this point.

But what it has shown, by all appearances Russia doesn't have a military that can fight. It certainly can't do combined arms worth a tit. It's air force has been grounded, it's navy chased back to port and where is the feared and vaunted Spetsnaz? They're not an army. They're a corrupted, drunken bunch of thieves.

What about the fact that Russia is the side in the position of strength don't you understand?

H campaigned against us being involved in forever wars and wasting money on wars that have absolutely nothing to do with our national security.

The VAST majority of the base doesn't want to spend anymore money on Ukraine:

https://english.nv.ua/nation/majority-of-u-s-republicans-oppose-continued-ukraine-aid-wsj-poll-shows-50504126.html

Seventy-nine percent of Republican Party supporters in the United States oppose continuing aid to Ukraine in its defense against Russia, The Wall Street Journal reported on April 6, citing the results of its latest survey.

And after the war Zelensky will need to answer why there were no meaningful defenses at the Ukraine-Crimea border when Putin invaded. And why the Ukrainian mines on the Antonovsky bridge in Kherson were removed 2 weeks before the invasion. Russia never would have the territory it occupies now if there had been appropriate defenses at the Ukraine-Crimea border and the Antonovsky bridge had been blown before the Russians arrived.

And if we keep sending Ukraine weapons our deficit will be $60 Trillion in 10 years.

If Zelensky had mobilized his army earlier, Putin would have used that moment as an opportunity to attack Ukraine.

Honestly, not that much money.

We're spending all our money on Social Security and Medicare.
