There has also been a significant rise in the number with “no religion” over the same 20 year period which grew from 3.53% to 14.70% of the total Irish population.
The Muslim population has grown to 83,272, an increase of around 20,000 since 2016.
Hinduism has grown 10 fold in 20 years, which about 33,000 Adherents in 2022.
If it wasn’t for Polish emigration to Ireland, they wouldn’t have any priests left.
