There was an article on the FR some time back about hotels in Africa that won’t accept American blacks as guests. Apparently the reputation gets around.

In the early 80’s the USS Tarawa docked in Mombasa Kenya.

American blacks thought they were going to find out about their roots. However, they were disliked and banned from most establishments.

The shock was palpable.

A Nigerian (immigrant) friend of mine made a similar mistake. He then went home and brought back a decent wife.

I saw a short vid about a Jamaican hotel owner who doesn't want to reserve for African Americans. She said they trash the place, fight with each other and other guests, get too drunk and show no respect for the rules of the place

She has had it.
