Moderna on Monday said its experimental mRNA-based flu vaccine produced a stronger immune response than a currently available shot in a late-stage trial, clearing a path forward for the product and the company’s separate combination flu and Covid jab.
Moderna in May voluntarily withdrew an application seeking approval of its combination shot targeting Covid-19 and influenza, saying it had plans to resubmit it with efficacy data from the phase three trial on its stand-alone flu vaccine. That decision came after discussions with the Food and Drug Administration, which is grappling with a massive overhaul under Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr., a prominent vaccine skeptic.
With the new data, the company plans to resubmit the application for the combination vaccine and file for approval of its stand-alone flu shot later this year, Stephen Hoge, the company’s head of research and development, said in an interview.
If regulators approve the flu vaccine, the company can then advance the combination shot, Hoge said. He added that Moderna expects approvals for both shots next year pending reviews.

Thank you very much and God bless you.
moderna tried to slip in the combo mRNA flu/covid jab on the basis of positive trial results of ONLY the mRNA flu jab.
DJT's FDA said "NO!" so they resubmitted application for the standalone "mRNA-1010 flu jab."
The article - by pro-jab cnbc - even touts the "efficacy" of the mRNA-1010 jab with the "phase three trial" in sleight of hand bump to the combo jab, which has NOT been tested (at least there's no mention in the article):
"The mRNA-1010 vaccine’s safety data was consistent with previous results from another phase three study on the shot.
cnbc highlights the scheme to separate the 2 jabs in order to get the combo jab approved:
If regulators approve the flu vaccine, the company can then advance the combination shot, Hoge said. He added that Moderna expects approvals for both shots next year pending reviews.
Yeah, "advance" the combo jab without trial data, that is.
We shall see how FDA under rfk jr reacts to moderna's scheme.
Side note: It is my view here that moderna is attempting to slide in their covid combo jab under the fauci-era EUA. Curious: Why haven't the EUAs been suspended? [rhetorical jab at rfk jr]
At least the fda is pretending to do its job this time around, but let's not talk about all the career bureaucrats still at the agency who worked to promote the covid jabs and everything else which sent this country into a tailspin, health & economy-wise.../s
Oh, otay! We’ll schedule that right away. NOT! 💉👎
No thanks.
Oh, great!
Hot puppies! I can’t wait. They say it’s good for distemper and hoof-and-mouth too...
No. And don’t need it.
Oh hell no. Only a very stupid person would ever let any of this swill be injected into their body.
Nope.
Period.
End of story.
MRNA jabs disable and kill.
LOL
LOL....
Lets hope liberals line up for multiple shots!!!
;-)
I used to get regular flu shots. Never again! I just do not trust that they will not add the Covid shot.
Two mRNA vaccines in one shot. That makes it much more convenient and will save a lot of time for me to turn it down only once.
“Is it too much to ask for mRNA vaccines with fricking laser beams spliced into the helix??!!”
I don’t know enough about mRNA to say whether every instance of it is good or bad, but the nightmare that mRNA covid “vaccines” have become has left such a bad taste in most people’s mouths that surely, only the uninformed will take them.
Same here. I refuse to take a flu shot (last time I did I got really sick for 3-4 days) because I’d be afraid the clot shot would be given..
I will refuse any combination flu/covid shot.
Question, why combined them? I think the answer is so they can tell people it is a flu shot and not mentioned the covid vaccine.
