Actor Debra Messing wrote an Islamophobic comment on her Instagram in reference to New York City Democratic mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani, claiming that he “celebrated” 9/11.
“I have nothing against Socialism, don’t know where you got that,” Messing, who is known for her role in the sitcom “Will & Grace,” wrote in an Instagram comment replying to a user who called her out for sharing a reel denouncing socialism. “I voted against M because he celebrated 9/11. Let that sink in. I love my country. My reasoning is not Islamophobia. I’ve chosen to live in the most beautifully diverse city in the world. The same people who did 9/11 did Oct. 7. I just don’t want a mayor who sides with terrorists. Oh and he wants to defund the police. And he has no experience. I’ll stop here.”

I vote for "actress." She definitely looks like a female to me.
I've always said, American Jews fall into three basic categories:
1. A tiny minority of leftists who oppose Israel.
2. A larger minority of conservatives who support Israel.
3. And a large majority of leftists who support Israel.
I've met many such Jews while living in NYC and Los Angeles. Leftist on all issues, love LGBTQ+, diversity, open borders for the U.S., hate the "Christian right," but fiercely pro-Israel.
This latter group are much troubled by their leftist brothers and sisters protesting Israel after Oct 7. They hate Trump, but love Israel. A dilemma for them.
But there are many Jews who are staunchly anti-Zionist and hate Israel.
Never thought I’d agree with anything Messing said.
These squishy liberals are blind to the obvious in front of them, but can’t state it or take a stand based on truth. There is nothing wrong with being “Islamophobic” given their beliefs and practice of killing and subjugation. And really, not having an opinion on socialism tells everyone how ignorant you are.

Islam is a worldview, not a religion of peace, and is bent on world dominance.
The Quran is incompatible with the U.S. Constitution. No Muslim should hold office because of that.
