Idiots. They are trying to organize human life around AI, instead of organizing Ai around human life.

It’s just like all other leftist plans to reject human free will and organize humans around schemes.

Dear Google,

If I’m searching for something, the LAST thing in the world I want to see is your summary of what you think I should know.

They haven’t already? The web was fine until Google came along.

Not impressed. I’ve been somewhat displeased with search engines in general since they quit doing true Boolean searches.

"If Google makes AI Mode the default in its current form, it's going to have a devastating impact on the internet" – Lily Ray

Yeah, because she (Ray) makes her money on SEO, and you can't really do that with AI search.

Nope. Quite the opposite. AI is going to kill Google as a search monopoly.

Google is trying to make the internet one big advertising platform.

Just imagine their algorithm. AlGore will be the Goggle AI sage. Anyone asking the AI to provide major historical information on the back-and-forth long ice ages, with short warm periods in between, will be immediately labeled a denier.

I want the full web, not the light web. Fear of the full web is an interesting problem people tumble over.

That’s fine. There are other options, and if this sucks badly enough, there will be others that do conventional search. I used to use Altavista, and Yahoo before that. There will almost always be another one.

Computer user’s choosing convenience over privacy and security . . . leads to “convenience and security” defined and controlled by the socialist conglomerate.

Searching is a waste of time these days you get the same garbage now and it doesn’t matter what search engine you use

Google would cut their own throat to make a buck, and since GoogleAds provide the bulk of their revenue, that's exactly what they will do.

The founders are creeps, culture of death, they don't hire anyone in c-suite who would dare oppose them.

OpenAI likely comes up with not just the killer app but the killer platform -- in spite of M$loth's seed investment -- and GOOG is gone in 5 years.

AI is about to change everything. If you're in tech, you know it already. If you're not in tech, gird your loins...

Advertisements have ALREADY destroyed the web.

My ad blockers aren’t very effective any more. Brave does a good job. The “Reader” view in Safari does a pretty good job, but not as good as Brave.

Destroy the web?

No one needs to use Google.

So we have a choice now... get error riddled results using search engines run by human input/output. Or get error riddled results using ai input/output.

Hmm, tough choice.

Their plan all along has been to segue to where you get just the customized, intermediated search result they want to give you, based on all they know about you individually. Complete manipulation and control.

Most people haven’t even noticed how much has already been taken away from regular google searches—and google is still the complete and up-to-date search there is.

Don’t use Google at all except the wife’s car which is a Google nightmare infotainment system. I said we ARE NOT logging into a f’n car. We continue as guest.
