I expect this will be the case in the future. When I first got into cryptocurrency I figured there would be not one but maybe 5 or 6 major successful cryptocurrencies. Then as I understood that cryptos could be optimized for every financial niche I expanded that estimate to dozens. Then I read of a journalist predicting there would be thousands of financial niches each with its own crypto.

Now I foresee a possible future where there are more viable cryptocurrencies than people, each optimized for specific financial functions and niches. I can imagine where AI will automatically generate cryptocurrencies for specific temporary functions such that the cryptocurrency will be created and traded and then closed out at the appropriate time, potentially without a human ever being involved.

Thx. Actually, I was asking if crypto like bitcoin were to be counterfeited by AI. Could AI figure out how to corrupt the block chain or is it infailable?
