DHS Issues Heightened Terror Threat for Americans [Cyber attack]
Newsweek ^ | Jun 22, 2025

The United States Department of Homeland Security (DHS) issued a threat summary in a National Terrorism Advisory System Bulletin Sunday following Saturday's strikes on three key-nuclear facilities in Iran.

"The ongoing Iran conflict is causing a heightened threat environment in the United States," the DHS statement said.

DHS also said, "low-level cyber attacks against US networks by pro-Iranian hacktivists are likely, and cyber actors affiliated with the Iranian government may conduct attacks against US networks."

I would take this seriously. Btw, 3 insurance companies were hacked and sites inoperable for the last 2 weeks.

Please Iranians, do not hack my broker and sell my stocks in Nvidia, apple, Microsoft, and Amazon. I will get killed with capital gains tax.

The trouble with Iranians in the US who are anti-regime is they are difficult to distinguish from the terrorists who got across the border under Biden.

Iranian born people number between 500,000 and 1.2 million in the US, depending on the source. This would include older Shah of Iran supporters and their offspring. Plus people who fled the oppressive leaders’ dictates to live here.

That contributor on Fox News Sheila Nazarian would be a contender for special consideration by males here. Anti-regime Iranian born woman.

How many terrorist cell members did Biden welcome strolling in across our borders?

We’ve seen the images of endless lines of unvetted single strapping swarthy young men strolling across our borders. We have no effing clue.

One should always take these threats seriously, but given the problems the Iranian regime has to contend with at their home front presently, I would guess that it will take some time before they will be able to plan and finance any major terror attack.

This "tweet" from Richard Grenell from a friend in Iran says quite a lot of how things are at the moment:

Richard Grenell
@RichardGrenell
A friend inside Iran:

“Ric, thank you for asking.

Right now in Iran, there is a full-scale security crackdown. Armed checkpoints are everywhere. IRGC, Basij, and plainclothes forces are stopping cars, searching phones, and intimidating people.

On top of that, the regime is taking families of Iranian journalists and activists [who are? /SB] abroad hostage, threatening them to silence opposition voices.

Dozens were arrested today. Several were executed this week under false charges of "spying for Israel", the regime uses fear and lies to justify killings.” 3:02 PM · Jun 22, 2025

RE: crackdown on potential dissidents in Iran....

That stuff about the families of ones in the US and the rest of “the Iranian Diaspora” is disturbing.

I asked a Christian anti-Communist student assistant at the library where I used to work about how many died after the man defied the tank in Tiananmen Square, she said many thousands, despite denials. All Chinese college students are watched in the US.

I agree. We have had a number of cases here in Sweden where Iranian “diplomats” have been expelled spying on people from the Iranian diaspora.

And in the old (bad) days the Soviets used to keep track of refugees from the Baltic countries (Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania). One of my classmates (whose parents both came from Estonia) but who was born and bred in Sweden got an invitation to do his military service in the Red Army when he turned 18. Of course the soviets did not expect him to turn up, but then it would be impossible for him to ever visit Estonia. And they showed that they kept control over the Baltic refugees, even second or third generation. Disgusting! I'm certain the Iranian mullocracy is just as bad!

The DHS should tell people to have a car/truck rifle and plenty of mags in case there is a terrorist cell activated to do “who knows what”. Call 911 first, then lock and load to take out the trash because the police won’t show up in time.

The majority of the Muslims in the Middle East are Sunni muslims so it’s likely most of the ones in this country are Sunni.

Iran is Shia Muslim and there is no love between the two sects so probably the ones in this country don’t care much about us bombing Iran.

Obama, being Shia, bombed the Sunni countries of Libya, Syria and Pakistan while enriching his brother religion in Iran.

Obama's father was a Sunni Muslim. But there's no evidence that he was practicing his faith. It was assumed that he was a secularist. He wasn't involved in Barry's life anyway.

Won’t even have to worry about the Iranians doing it. The Dims are so angry they would do it themselves if they had the firepower.
