according to flight tracking data and voice communications with air traffic control

Not very stealthy.

I read that they have F-22 escorts. Only the best for them.

Would US entry into this war invite Pakistan, China, Russia, Turkey to join the fun? I’d rather see Trump make sure those bozos don’t get itchy trigger fingers.

Iranian leaders are going to force Trump to use the bombers. They will not be surrendering.

Well, we spend trillions for these military technological defense machines so let’s see America get its monies worth. “F-Iran” and “Bomb Iran” aren’t just old bumper stickers anymore. The problem is what comes after. That takes smart critical thinking not machines.

The video of those bombs blowing up the site is going to be epic. They’ll circulate around the world nonstop. They’ll become memes.

Part of me thinks Trump is using his showmanship to advantage. He’ll stop short of selling seats to watch, but anticipation is building.

A limited mission of dropping those MOABs is the right thing to do, IMO, for a variety of reasons.

“Diplomacy without weapons is like music without instruments.”

Stealth aircraft can only be tracked by air traffic control if they do not disable civilian ATC transponders and ADS-B. I am reasonably certain they can safely fly in civilian airspace stealthily.

They want to be seen.

“The bombers apparently refueled after launching from Missouri, suggesting they launched without full fuel tanks due to a heavy onboard payload, which could be bunker-buster bombs.”

I am trying to figure out the logic behind that thought? It would be extremely impractical and I’m pretty sure they would only load these on a bomber during the final leg and delivery of a mission? Wouldn’t they transport and stage these before hand waiting for the bombers to arrive and then load them on the Bombers for final delivery?

The president needs options. It can’t be all nuclear war or nothing.

As for Iran, it should’ve taken Trump’s deal.

I am reminded of how the Spanish Civil war became a test bed for both German and Soviet concepts in military technology and combat tactics.

China and Russia have, I am sure, made large investments in defeating US stealth technology since Clinton bombed the Chinese embassy in Belgrade - and that was a long time ago.

Iran is a perfect location for them to try out some of their toys.

It’s almost like they are advertising we are coming. The Internet started posting this like 12 hours ago. There must be a way we can mask the signature of special flights.

“I think Trump is bluffing,” said Khamenei.

“How can you tell”? asked the newly installed IRGC commander.

“I can’t tell which is why I think,” says Khamenei.

Just a hypothesis, we’re probably bolstering the forces around Guam because we sent the USS Nimitz from that area over to the Middle East. It would make sense to rapidly deploy something with a lot of combat power into the area.

Imagine how much easier this would be if we still had Bagram Air Force Base.
