The Playboy Mansion in Holmby Hills, Los Angeles, was at the height of its fame in 1983, serving as the epicenter of Hugh Hefner’s brand of hedonistic glamour. Parties were frequent, lavish, and exclusive, often attended by celebrities, socialites, and Playboy Bunnies.
They ranged from themed extravaganzas like the Midsummer Night’s Dream Party to more intimate movie nights, which were highly coveted invitations. The mansion’s 29-room estate, with its grotto, pool, game room, and zoo, provided a backdrop for events that blended sophistication with debauchery. Guests could expect gourmet food, top-tier cocktails, and entertainment, sometimes including performances or exotic animals.
While some accounts, like those from Pamela Anderson, describe the parties as “wild but respectful,” others, such as Jenny McCarthy’s, suggest the grotto was a site for less glamorous, sometimes “gross” encounters. Security was tight, and Hefner carefully curated guest lists to maintain exclusivity, often requiring personal invitations. Rumors of drug use and sexual escapades were common, though a 1990s attendee noted that such activities were discreet, with the overall atmosphere resembling a “regular party” on a grand scale.

a house of evil
yes, but Jesus called us all Evil. Matthew 7:11. he is patient and tolerant and even puts up with me. Paul called himself the chief of sinners...and he called himself “wretched.”
Jesus had no problem saving the people who went to playboy parties.......his biggest problem was saving people who thought they were good. The religious leaders. Who eventually crucified him. This man receives sinners.....and they hated him for it.
The media promoted Hefner since the early 1950s as they did anything and anyone that would help in their war to destroy America’s culture and civilized public restraint making us a marriage, family and God friendly society.
Looks like Connie Stevens at the 8:27 mark.....she’s close to 90 I guess now. But still kicking.
fair point. God bless you
yes
Hugh dead.
Hugh Hefner’s been forgotten.
God bless you too brother....amen.
____Hugh Hefner’s been forgotten.___
Maybe he confessed Christ on his deathbed. I know a thief who did and heaven was the last thing he stole and Christ was happy to let him steal it.
We may be surprised who we see there. If we make it. Thanks.
Hugh stayed too long. As a teenage in the 70s us guys were quite impressed. As a dad in the 90s it was kind of odd an old guy would have these parties. After the 2000s it was more pathetic.
Many of the Roman soldiers who executed him will be there too. “FATHER forgive them. They know not what they do.” was the first of 7 things he said and was directed in part to the soldiers:
Matthew 27:54
“Now when the centurion, and they that were with him, watching Jesus, saw the earthquake, and those things that were done, they feared greatly, saying, Truly this was the Son of God.”
2 Peter 3:9
“The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.”
Yes, in fact Peter even told the very ones who crucified our Lord that they still could repent.
The grace of God cannot be measured in words. We serve a wounded God and no other religion can have a wounded God. Amen.
I bet it still "smells" sticky in there.
Here is Hefner explaining his goals and the “Playboy Philosophy” that he was spreading.

That is Connie Stevens and she looks great! About 48 I would guess
What he was spreading was open rebellion to God’s law. God has a law. And sin is defined as transgression of the law which are summarized for humanity in the 10 commandments. The great Moral law.
That’s correct.
