A surprise second eyewitness has emerged in the Idaho student murders case and could testify against Bryan Kohberger at trial later this year.
A woman claiming to be the Idaho DoorDash driver who dropped off food to victim Xana Kernodle minutes before a home invasion stabbing spree killed her, her boyfriend, and two roommates, has emerged as a surprise second eyewitness to testify at Kohberger’s upcoming murder trial, and she told police she saw him at the scene.
The purported driver revealed herself in a police bodycam video from an alleged DUI stop taken in September 2024 and posted weeks later to the YouTube account, Officer Axon, which publishes law enforcement videos obtained through public records requests.
Web sleuths picked up on it, and her connection to the Kohberger case was reported in the Idaho Statesman Tuesday.
“I have to testify in a big murder case here… because I’m the DoorDash driver, so yeah,” she says in the video.

They use gps, so her proximity and time should be easily substantiated one would think.
What does having to testify some time in 2025 have to do with a DUI arrest in September 2024? Unless she was in the area to meet with the lawyers back then and was asked by the police “Where have you been, where are you going?” etc.)
I imagine the defense attorney will use the DUI against her.
Provided the company still retains those records her time and location can be verified; however, it was Nov 2022 and that probably exceeds a lot of companies retention policies.
Poor writing in this article, again. I don't know either.
She’s already given statements to the police long ago, and they have known who she is since the murders happened. She just casually mentioned having to testify in the case to the DUI officer.
Someone is doing a good job keeping such things under the public radar.
“Kernodle received a delivery less than 10 minutes before the attack, which happened just after 4 a.m. on Nov. 13, 2022.”
Didn’t remember that. Spooky!
But if the police have withheld this from the defense doesn’t that cause problems for the prosecution?
DUI “stop”, probably just fishing and passed stuff and was let go but bodycam footage stored.
I assume the defense has had the info for a long time and isn’t interested in leaking it since what she says hurts them
