Tucker Carlson warned Monday that U.S. involvement in the escalating Israel-Iran conflict could bring down President Donald Trump and mark the collapse of America’s global influence.
In an appearance on Steve Bannon’s WarRoom, Carlson argued a full-scale war in the Middle East could derail Trump’s second term and devastate the country’s standing globally.
“I actually really love Trump. I think he’s a deeply humane, kind person,” Carlson said. “But I’m really afraid that my country’s gonna be further weakened by this. I think we’re gonna see the end of the American empire.
He added, “But it’s also going to end, I believe, Trump’s presidency and effectively end it.”

The other nations that have one haven’t repeatedly threatened others for years that they will burn in a sea of fire. Nor do they have the kind of close ties with multiple terrorist organizations that Iran could use as a delivery system while disclaiming responsibility.

People are right to be concerned by the specter of the US getting involved in dropping bombs on the nuclear facilities of a foreign nation. There are a lot of things that can result from that which could go sideways.
However, people should be far, Far, FAR more concerned about a country like Iran obtaining operational nuclear weapons.
If Iran gets operational nuclear weapons, things can not only go sideways, but upside down.
The fact that Iran has even gotten this close to having them is due to the cowardice of the rest of the world, including American leadership who for decades, refused to act at all and continually kicked that can down the road.
I never really “liked” Tucker, but the fact is, he said many things that needed saying at times they needed to be said, though it was said by many (accurately) that he was only doing it for self-serving purposes. That was something I appreciated, even if I wasn’t really a “fan” unlike the eponymous poster who started this thread.
Same for Rand Paul. He said things at times nobody else was saying them, and the view of him saying those things, the dynamic was much the same for many people as was their negative view of Tucker.
I have grown to dislike both Rand Paul and Tucker, especially Rand Paul, and my mild dislike of Rand Paul turned into repugnance when I heard his interview on the “Vince” podcast recently.
Rand Paul reminds me of McCain, someone who I once served under, and grew to despise.
as regards Israel and particularly the Israeli’s righteous and just action to destroy Iran’s nuclear ambitions, Tucker is wrong, wrong, wrong — and I can’t help but believe that at least some of his animosity towards Israel is rooted in basic antisemitism.

I Trust Tucker and I think he is right, a war is not cool and could see Iran toppled as the unstable force in the Middle East-—Will Putin and XI permit this? They let Assad fall maybe the Mullahs will be let go—but the new leaders may well not be pro-Israel or like the USA. I don’t think the people want a new Shah—a Iranian Napoleon may rise up and be worse.
I wouldn't think so. We might not like the proliferation to those countries and would try to prevent it, but we likely wouldn't be talking about war.
But some country, run by bug-eyed, spittle-lipped terrorists who have screamed for decades they are going to destroy us and wipe us off the map, and who have DIRECTLY organized and funded the deaths of tens or hundreds of thousands of innocent people throughout the word should be cause for real anxiety and concern.
And anyone who cannot understand that context has no place at the table of mature discourse on the subject.
Tucker Carlson is and always has been a self serving moron. He was wrong about Ukraine and he is now wrong about Trump and Iran
