If the league was interested in stopping this, players would be ejected from the game and not allowed to play in the next game. Technical fouls sound like "Okay, girls. Settle down for a while before you start again".

Now, if the WNBA would like to follow NHL rules, maybe they could put something in place to settle fights at mid-court.

And, finally - part of the reason the league might want to keep this tough-girl thing going is that the only time I hear about girl basketball is when Caitlan Clark gets rough fouled. Any publicity is good publicity?

Only watching is the clips of the attacks, that’s what they are. So question, which company wants their name associated with Thug Ball? I cannot see any longterm sponsorship or advertising with the WNBA with it current state of play.
