Israel needs a 15-ton ‘bunker buster’ bomb to destroy the last untouched nuclear facility in Iran, but only the US has one.
Such a powerful weapon – the largest non-nuclear bomb in the US arsenal – is needed because the target, Fordow Fuel Enrichment Plant, is built some 300 feet inside a mountain near the city of Qom, two hours south of Tehran.
The heavyweight explosive is known as a GBU-57A/B Massive Ordnance Penetrator and was designed by Boeing for the United States Air Force.
Its huge weight means it can only be delivered with a B-2 Spirit stealth bomber – a jet Israel’s air force does not possess.

Use swarms of drones to drop ordinance on all surface accesses to the underground facility to plug them shut. However, are any humans even in there right now or is it temporarily shut down?
Thus, the bunker buster bomb is probably the best way to destroy the actual underground facility, rendering it useless for years to come, probably forever. Do it Prez Trump, act decisively and do it now before Iran can come up with a scheme of their own.

A C-130J-30 can certainly carry the weight, but the MOAB needs to be dropped from 50,000' for adequate penetration.
I'd be willing to bet a rocket assisted fall could be dropped from 28,000', and have the terminal velocity of a 50,000' free fall...

I could see the Israelis using a heavily modified C-130 to deliver it on target. It would more than likely have to take off half full and a JATO takeoff at that(with a bomb no less). They would have to build a fuel bridge for the C-130(7 refuels for the 130 alone) and its escorts, totally suppress any type of missiles or AAA over the target and then nearly stand the C-130 on its tail to build up enough kinetic energy for the bomb to go thru that much rock. They would have to drop it from 50,000-60,000 feet if my calculations or even remotely close. too many things could go wrong and you would get one shot at best.
During testing of the MOP, both the B-2 and the B-52 were used at various times.
There are several ways to go after Fordow not all of which are from the air. But a reign of terror from above using MOPs via B-2s would certainly be the most “show off” way. And that might be the plan actually, for several reasons. Sends a statement to other countries and gives Trump his big moment as a favor for all the help the U.S. has given Israel the past few months. (None of this would have happened under Kamala and Bibi knows it.)

My understanding is if they had to do it on their own, they would drop a bunker buster, then drop another on precisely the same coordinates, then drop another on the same spot. Each bomb will go deeper than the previous until desired result is achieved.
Rather than trying to bomb Iran’s nuclear ambitions out of existence,, why not use one of the brilliant AI programs to provide an alternate answer?
I doubt anyone in the middle east wants Iran to have ‘the bomb’... no less the rest of the world.
