Mr G had ketamine for a med procedure as well. He hated it! Everybody looked like digital people...... little dots and lines for limbs. He kept saying “This is so weird!”. My laugh for the week was when I bent over him to talk and help him wake up. He looked at me and said “you’re soooo beautiful!” We have been married for 54 years, and neither of us is any longer eye candy. He loves me.

A man was just waking up from anesthesia after surgery, and his wife was sitting by his side. His eyes fluttered open and he said, "You're beautiful." Then he fell asleep again. His wife had never heard him say that, so she stayed by his side.

A few minutes later, his eyes fluttered open and he said "Oh, it’s you." She said, "What happened to 'beautiful'?" The man replied, "The drugs are wearing off!"
