The way it works is a letter stands for another letter. For example: AXYDLBAAXR is LONGFELLOW (does not apply to today's cryptogram).
Beware, the game is very addictive. If this is your first time, don't be intimidated, you’ll be solving them all within a few days. If you’re stumped, take a break and return to it.
PLEASE DO NOT post the answer in general comments, but DO post your time and how you made out.
You can certainly send your solution to my private reply, or if you need a hint for today’s Cryptogram ASK THE GROUP FOR HELP!
I suggest printing these out and work them on paper. If you need a little help you can copy and paste it to Hal’s Helper below.
You can then work on the puzzle without using pen and paper, but I recommend that you do NOT look at the letter counter.

One last request. Feel free to post a fun or clever clue, the more tangential to the quotation the better, but please don’t put the actual words of the quote in the clue.
Good morning and Happy Father’s Day
Sunday everyone.
The parade was wonderful.
“NO King’s” was a flop and a slap in the face every military person and his family living or dead.
Watching our president, brought tears to my eyes.
I had thought of posting this quote, but worried it would be taken wrong, as if I am saying it describes Trump.
But actually, it’s a great description of a true Monarch, of which Trump is not. He is a king in my eyes, but unlike the true only King.

That was fast!!!
Oh no, a monarch has it handed to him by birth.
I’m guessing the author was a long lost relative of the inventor of basketball....
OOOPS!
This is the quote I was going to post:
“A monarchy is the most expensive of all forms of government, the regal state requiring a costly parade, and he who depends on his own power to rule, must strengthen that power by bribing the active and enterprising whom he cannot intimidate.”
James Fenimore Cooper

Bonus Cryptogram: My favorite author. I hope that’s true in my case.
And I spent 10 years of school in orchestras and marching bands ...
Dang, 10 years of marching band? How many times did you have to repeat senior year? 🤣
OFF
7 years 6th-12th grade, 2 years college, 1 year with the 276th Army Band (Army Reserve) ... then on to the infantry ...
