THIS IS THE MAGA FOREIGN POLICY!

THIS IS THE MAGA FOREIGN POLICY!

So tired of the isolationists barking about the old and failed foreign policy of the past and insisting that they’ve uncovered the secret, new way forward — isolationism. There’s nothing new or good about isolationism which, in a word, is appeasement. It’s old and promotes war, such as WWII.

Even worse, these knuckleheads can’t even coherently explain what they mean. Have you watched them on TV? They’re too self-righteous in their ignorance to realize how absurd they sound. They don’t agree among themselves what the hell they're talking about.

In fact, they’re so blind and self-important that they don’t see the new foreign policy taking place in real time, right in front of their eyes! That's the mind-set of ideological fanatics.

We are witnesses to a foreign policy unlike any since Reagan-Thatcher-John Paul II defeated the Soviet Union. It’s nothing like the recent failed policies we’ve seen in Iraq, Afghanistan, and elsewhere.

Trump and Bibi are together demonstrating how to deal with a genocidal terrorist regime, how to use diplomacy and military power, how to use Intel and special forces, how to use the media and public statements, and more, to defeat the biggest terror-supporting regime on the planet. It is and has been brilliant, and if all goes well, it will result in a transformed Middle East, an expansion of the Abraham Accords, and a world free of a nuclear terror regime. Together, they are achieving what 47 years of prior policies have not. This is a very big deal! This is a real PEACE plan.

Yet, the isolationists, like Chatsworth Qatarlson, are now turning on our president, as they’ve spent months demeaning Bibi. They prefer the likes of Putin who, apparently, is more MAGA than Trump! They wind up turning themselves into pretzels, actually characterizing the Iranian regime as oppressed and victimized!

These reprobates have never been MAGA. They have sought to hijack a movement they never created, claim to be its leaders and influencers and redefine it to accommodate their own perverse ideological views, to the extent they can rationally explain them. They have clung to a movement they do not support. Hence, their hesitation in supporting our ally Israel, or outright opposition to it, in its righteous war of survival against the Iranian terrorist regime, which benefits the entire West. A regime that has killed and maimed Americans, sought to assassinate our president, threatens our country with nuclear annihilation, seeks to slaughter millions of Israelis, has spread death and mayhem in Lebanon, Yemen, Gaza, Iraq, and has aligned itself with Communist China, North Korea, and Russia. The isolationists tell us that to oppose this is to be a warmonger and anti-MAGA. Just close your eyes and cover your ears.

They also don’t seem to care that they attract Marxists, Islamists, and antisemites. Some even openly promote and celebrate them. That’s not MAGA either. President Trump is a proud American patriot. He despises bigots. And he has done more than any president ever to fight antisemitism and anti-Americanism in our country. No, they’re not MAGA. But we’ve seen their likes before.

More to come.

Going to war with Iran directly, fomenting regime changes and nation building would most CERTAINLY not an example of isolationism or MAGA/American First foreign policy.

It's neoconism, the same thing that failed miserably in Iraq and Afghanistan under Bush.

In fact, Trump aggressively campaigned against all that.

War is expensive and the US is $37 trillion in debt. Regime change in Iran and rebuilding Israel will add another couple of trillion to the tab. Beside I doubt regime change will go as easily as they seem to think.

It’s old and promotes war, such as WWII.

That's sort of putting the cart before the horse. WWII is what got the U.S. out of isolationism. I don't see it as a bad thing necessarily; in fact its preferable to being so enmeshed in world affairs that we forget our priority should be our own people and culture.

Levin is a clown. And he’s a parody with his knee-jerk interventionism.

“The strikes led to a sharp increase in the price of oil, which is negative for us,” Zelenskyy said. “The Russians are getting stronger due to greater income from oil exports.”

What Trump campaigned directly against was allowing Iran to develop nuclear weapons. He railed against the Obama/Biden treaty and their policies that rewarded their bad behaviors. Or weren’t you paying attention?

--- "Bow down to Islam, infidel! But buy my nicotine pouches first!"

What a remarkably well-honed explanation for the rancorous divisions appearing on a political forum, as one watches only a few posts away ---

Dear FRiends, We're now over 68%, but we still have $26K to go. And we have only 17 days left to bring it in. We're gonna need a whole lot more of your help here, folks. Let's get 'er done. [FReepathon]

Iran is a threat, we cannot let them acquire a nuke.

Trump is right, and his approach in the Middle East is likely the best Course of Action.

I hope it does pay off and that it not only blocks Iranian nuclear ambitions but also creates a lasting peace in the region.

But this isn't how you make an argument.

This just sounds dumb.

Taking out Iran's nuclear weapons capability and military leadership is one thing.

Taking action that destroys Iran's oil and gas infrastructure that will result in gas prices is not defensive and it screwing American citizens.

Gas prices just went 30 cents here yesterday and that is not acceptable.

Nor is us being involved in any kind of regime change/nation building schemes that failed miserably in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Its past that point now.
With Israel targeting nuclear fscilities exclusively, which is against provisions of the Geneva convention agreements, and the strikes today against energy infrastructure in Iran, it now involves China, Turkey, India, Armenia, Pakistan, UAE, Qatar and others.

It is a regional war now.

Will be interesting the effects of the price of energy here and in Europa.

Russia has their own energy. But, all it will take is one targeted strike against Russian energy infrastructure and away itll go.

No strategic thinking at all.

Levin is a neocon moron. Isolationism served us well until democrat presidents (Wilson and FDR) got us into world wars.

Remember he was originally a DeSantis never-Trumper. I’m glad to see him showing his colors now. It’ll ruin his reputation.

Regional peace and stability will be achieved with regime change. Russia will have to get its drones elsewhere. China will still get its oil. Oil price spikes can be mitigated by the Gulf states increasing output. Putin is fast and furiously making overtures to Trump and Netanyahu and offering his “mediation services”. We are witnessing regime change done right without the blood and treasure. Investment here comes with dividends. I like the return.

Not letting Iran get nuclear weapons is quite a bit different than regime change/nation building and attacking their gas and oil infrastructure, which will result in oil prices increasing here and worldwide.

That latter is not acceptable.
