Los Angeles Democratic Mayor Karen Bass and over 30 other mayors of nearby cities on Wednesday called for an end to federal immigration enforcement raids amid protests.
Protests in Los Angeles turned violent over the weekend after U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement conducted raids last week, resulting in detentions and deportations of illegal immigrants. The violent protests led to President Trump sending the National Guard and Marines to the city over California Gov. Gavin Newsom's (D) objection.
"A week ago, everything was peaceful in the city of Los Angeles, and in all of the representatives behind me, in their cities, as well," Bass said during a press conference. "Things began to be difficult on Friday, when raids took place, and it's important that I begin there, because that is the cause of the problems that have happened in the city of Los Angeles and other cities."...
She said that they initially heard that "the administration wanted to go after violent felons, gang members, drug dealers. But when you raid Home Depot and workplaces, when you tear parents and children apart, and when you run armored caravans through our streets, you're not trying to keep anyone safe – you're trying to cause fear and panic."

Suck it...no other country in the world lets people just walk in.
They can protest with the protestors if they want.
But the enforcement continues.
The raids are boosting the administration’s favorability among the electorate.
Double down on ICE raids!
All this law enforcement stuff is causing chaos!
Do we have to wait for the Democrats to start a Second Civil War before we can outlaw their party ?
We the American people VOTED FOR enforcement raids. Deny that and the country is finished.
The slimy, dishonest Democrats caused this problem and they are not going to stop us from dealing with it. They are a bunch of hucksters laying down a smokescreen.
Stop enforcing the law immediately.

Why would they? They're getting all this power because the census allows us to count everybody including non-citizens.
Trump tried to make it so that we counted citizens only. He lost.
Even if nothing is happening but we are able to secure our borders between now and 2030, California is going to lose 4 EVs.
Of course they don’t they’d lose 20 congressional seats if illegals were not counted in the census
Basically, they’re saying give them amnesty.
If what they want becomes policy, then the illegal aliens have won their right to stay and flaunt our laws.
Are all of these communities the ones that also decriminalized crime a year or two ago?
85% of American citizens are on board with this cleansing.
Thankfully, they don’t have that authority.
Add a citizenship question to the 2030 census and the problem will take care of itself.

If President Trump backs down on this - and I doubt he will - it’s over.
