Protesters gather ahead of a protest march in Dover on the south-east coast of England, on April 27, 2025.
Do you have concerns about mass migration? Are you worried that a lack of integration is causing damage to society? Would you ever describe yourself as a “cultural nationalist?” According to Prevent, the British government’s official counter-extremism scheme, this makes you a potential terror threat.
The Telegraph reported last week that an online training “refresher course” on Prevent’s site lists “cultural nationalism” as one belief that could see an individual referred for “de-radicalisation” training. It defines this as the conviction that “Western culture is under threat from mass migration and a lack of integration by certain ethnic and cultural groups.” It classifies this as one of the common “sub-categories of extreme right-wing terrorist ideologies” alongside white supremacism and white/ethno-nationalism.
It has been pointed out that, absurdly, UK prime minister Keir Starmer could himself be referred to Prevent as a “cultural nationalist.” Last month, he made a surprising (if not entirely believable) U-turn on migration, finally talking about a crackdown on illegal small-boat crossings in the Channel. He promised an end to Britain’s “open-borders experiment” and lamented the country had become an “island of strangers” as a result of failed integration. For this, Starmer could theoretically be seen as a person of concern by Prevent, spreading “extreme right-wing terrorist ideologies.”
In fact, a staggering number of Brits would be caught in Prevent’s crosshairs, provided the civil servants undertaking the training course actually followed its guidelines. According to recent polling by YouGov, immigration and asylum rank as the second-highest priority for voters, just behind the economy. And given that Nigel Farage’s Reform UK, which has built its platform largely around cutting migration, is still leading in the polls

Thank you very much and God bless you.
Will the courts allow real conservatives to be elected in the UK?
You vill eat zee bugs and you vill not speak ill of the undocumented immigrants or there vill be consequences.
That confirms it. The British government is using “1984” as a blueprint.

Yes I probably would describe myself as a “cultural nationalist”. Things went a lot smoother when it was expected of immigrants to adapt to our existing culture instead of this multicultural bs they are pushing today. I cant imagine myself moving to another country and then demanding that country change their culture to suit my tastes as what seem to be the case of immigrants coming to America today. The people coming in today seem to be doing it exclusively for their own financial benefit and have little or no interest in assimilating into the existing culture.
“Things went a lot smoother when it was expected of immigrants to adapt to our existing culture instead of this multicultural bs they are pushing today.”
Things went a lot smoother before Ted Kennedy was bribed to push the Hart-Celler act of 1965.
Yes that was the turning point that had an incredibly negative influence on our country. If it was up to me that would be repealed and only those of European extraction with a similar culture would be allowed in. I might certain exceptions for exceptional people who didn’t fit that criteria but not many.
Nationalism is only okay for Palestinians and Mexicans. All the rest of us better hate our own culture and actively campaign to see it obliterated.
