They don’t meet on communes and drink kookaide. They don’t have to. So much that is socio-cultural is digital now.
But why would they complain that they are ‘losing their culture’?
Because they might have to speak english?
The italian americans didn’t lose their culture when they started speaking english. African americans didn’t lose their culture. Hell, they complain that the general culture is appropriating theirs too much.
This isn’t about keeping culture. If anything it is about avoiding assimilation and cooperation with the greater culture and even about power and avoiding laws and taxes, but even that isn’t really it, because lots of (particularly legal) immigrants from latin countries are not rioting.
This is that same sort of indoctrination that the Marxists do, and not unlike the ISIS stuff, much of it is online propaganda that draws people prone to radicalism down into the dark-web rabbit hole. The “protests” are coordinated, and everyone can see it. Just the timing and dispersion of it made it obvious in the beginning.
“cult” in the old school sense doesn’t exactly apply, but it is closer than other single word you could choose.

I can assure you that the loser in that video clip wouldn't be caught dead working in the kind of jobs that have been "offshored" over the last few decades.
Say it politely ten thousand times, 100,000 more after that, until you have lost your job and the protest has moved on.
