I have seen several of your comments over the past few days, and this “last post” vanity appears to be redundant to all of your prior criticism. I am not Jewish, so maybe not highly sensitive to “antisemitism”, but I don’t see it. As for your other points, fine. Hope you find what you are looking for. You’ve said your piece, adios.

I agree mist with updating the site. I’d appreciate the ability to just block the morons. If mire blocked them they might get the hint.

there are 4 or 5 main posters of articles here and that is it. a couple, get swarmed with people sucking up to them rather than offering any educational discourse. and most of the time, the self righteous rarely respond to those taking the time to support said persons thread. it’s disgusting...
And then there is the clique issue... there are only certain people allowed to post threads on certain subjects. any others who try to post, go dead within 10 replies. WHY?

Agreed. And the “well ... bye” and “we don’t care about your opinion” comments illustrate his point. Too many on this site are, frankly, a-hole keyboard warriors whose only response is vitriol and insults.
I get most of my political news from X nowadays, but there I still have to block a lot of the nonsense posters and clickbait.
I check FR every day, as it is still a good repository of information, but I mentally screen for the silliness and bombast. It is still highly valued.
I came to FreeRepublic via a link from the DRUDGE REPORT on Whitewater. Even though I am retired and my only income is Social Security I am a monthly donor.
I am sad to say I agree with the poster (not on the specifics but) on the general over all feeling that FreeRepublic is showing it’s age. Perhaps it is because we are all getting older, I don’t know.
I am not giving up on FreeRepublic but I think it is dying and we will try to sign on one day and discovered it is gone.
