Thanks for posting, Condolences to you and the remainder of your father’s family and friends. RIP, sir. Prayer.
I’m so sorry for your loss. dad’s are so vital. He sounds like a good man.
My Dad is also not long for this world I fear. I dread the thought of him not being around one day. He is not aligned with my politics, but I love the man very much. Cherish the memories is the appropriate talking point i guess. I don't imagine that will help me much when the time comes though. So let me take this chance to urge you to go shoot something. Out of the box I know, I'm sorry for your loss.
But you didn't lose him. You know exactly where he is. And one day, in God's perfect time, you'll be reunited with him.
"... and everlasting joy shall be upon their head: they shall obtain gladness and joy; and sorrow and mourning shall flee away." (Isaiah 51:11)
Until then, prayers of comfort and strength for you and your family, in Jesus' Holy Name.
Prayers up.
Prayers offered for you and your family, FRiend.
Heavenly Father, please welcome this man home, and bring comfort to all those who feel his loss here.
Prayers to you and your family.
I am sorry to read this. Praying for you and your family.
RIP
It’s been 20 years since I lost my Dad.
It hurt for a while. But that gets smoothed over by the years. It doesn’t go away.
Now I watch my grandkids and think about how much he would have loved watching them grow up. I see in them how generations of good parenting is passed down. They would not be where they are, without my Dad’s hard work and dedication.
We all live on, impacting generations of people we never meet.
I find a lot of peace and satisfaction with that thought.
may peace be with your family
may you be comforted by the Holy Spirit
Prayers up.
He sounds like he was a very good man.
( lost my father couple months ago, it’s never easy )
Sorry to hear about your dad. I lost mine in 2004, he was 88. God Bless.
My deepest sympathies and prayers. May the soul of your dad rest in eternal peace.
Prayers for your family.
👊
Good suggestion
Sorry for your loss. I lost my Dad at 90 in 2008. I still expect to see him every week. I was his oldest and we worked together and then in the same industry all our lives.
Condolences to you and yours, and RIP to your dad. Glad he lived to see Trumps ascendancy.
It’s not just parents and grandparents.
Aunts and uncles. Teachers and coaches. First bosses. Influences from churches. Good neighbors.
A nice thought I’m just expanding upon.
