Love Island star Liana Isadora Van Riel has shared the heartbreaking reason she decided to have an abortion.
The reality star, who appeared in the 2016 series of the ITV2 show, revealed that she fell pregnant seven months after giving birth to her baby daughter.
In a video posted on TikTok, Liana told her followers that she wanted to share her story for 'awareness and transparency.'
The reality star, who worked as a stripper in both Cardiff and Magaluf, welcomed a baby daughter with her boyfriend last year.
Liana told her followers that she learned she was pregnant while seven months post-partum and while she was still breastfeeding her daughter.
She said: 'I had an abortion last week at nine months post partum, and I just want to talk about it a little bit,' and went onto say her pregnancy wasn't planned.
'It's probably one of the hardest things I've been through,' Liana continued.
'So obviously this pregnancy came as a huge shock and in an ideal world I think I'd have loved to have carried on the pregnancy.
'Me and my boyfriend spoke about it, we did consider it, but the reasons for were for all the wrong reasons - it was to give my daughter a sibling, it was because it was a nice age gap, it was mostly because I didn't want my daughter to be lonely when she's older and that's just the wrong reason.'
She then opened up about the difficulties she's had during her breastfeeding journey with her daughter.
'I would not be able to take on the mental and physical pressure of doing that again,' Liana said.

Thank you very much and God bless you.
Her reasons are so lame and self centered, but we all know that.
You can tell her sense of guilt and unsettled-ness is intertwined with her commentary. 🫤
Hideous woman. Horrid beast.
First comes Love.
Then comes Marriage.
Then the Baby and the Baby Carriage.
Love needs to be selfless and confirmed to survive the rigors of life. Right now, the Boyfriend can just leave on a whim, leaving his first born without a Father; the wife becoming a single mother.
Marriage in front of witnesses gives a new family (Husband and Wife) a foundation to build on. Do it before witnesses and before God, even more so.
With selfless Love and a good marriage foundation, the nest is created; a home secured and lovingly lined for the hoped for arrival.
Get the little song wrong, poverty, despair and desolation are probable.
Marriage is different than merely shacking up. You give your word to the other person, the assembled company, and to God.
A person is only worth what their word is worth. Your word is the only thing you truly own. This is why I have no regard for a politician or supposed leader who cheats. In doing so they are telling you that their word is worthless. And so are they.
It's not a "journey."
Another word that's been corrupted by New Age pop psychology women's magazines.
Then comes Marriage.
I heard an interesting take from a preacher who says it's the reverse. Marriage is the foundation for Love, not the reverse.
First you Marry, during which ceremony you promise to Love the other person till death you you part.
That means you will yourself to love that person, every day. If you don't or can't love that person one day, you try again the next day, till death do you part.
The mistake people (especially women) make is that they think that Love is the foundation for Marriage. And if they no longer feelz the love, then "the marriage is over," so they get a divorce.
This is the most backwards. thing I have heard. It sounds more like an excuse for arranged marriages.
No need to date and get to know/fall in love with the other person? Test the waters and see if you are compatible? Just hope for the best? Lame.
Help, I've fallen and I'm all knocked up!
I don't think that's the way it works.
Yes. True
But the man is equally culpable.
If he had stepped-up, taken responsibility and merely said to her: "I loved you enough to have sex with you, I love our child, and I will do my utmost to provide for and protect you and our children."
This weak woman would be publicly gushing right now about her man, her child and her lovely expected baby.
He should be publicly flogged. But then again, feminism has given him the option to simply run-away.
The only “heartbreaking” thing in this story is that she murdered her own child…
Woman: “Doctor, how soon after this baby is born can my boyfriend and I resume intimate relations?”
Doctor: “That depends. Does your insurance cover the cost of a private room?”
It’s all about her, she can’t do this, she can’t do that, but, she can murder an innocent baby, KARMA awaits this killer. She could have had the baby and then put him/her up for adoption.
She and her boyfriend are unrepentant killers. The reasoning for slicing and dicing her daughter’s sibling is pre BS.
PURE BS.
Help, I’ve fallen and I’m all knocked up! I don’t think that’s the way it works.
Depends on where the legs end up, and who’s helping.
He isnt eually culpable. He has zero say in what she does legally. Opinions do not translate into legal rights.
Give men equal rights on this issue and then you can assign equal responsibility. Otherwise they are legally just spectators with personal opinions that the state and the woman disregard and ignore, because they can and do.
Feminism also said we dont need no man, and they ignore what he wants and says. So no, not equally culpable because feminism doesnt want men equal with women, they want women superior to men.
And funny they dont want men, but sure love all the money and protection they rece8ve by the gynocentric state confiscating from men to give to them, all while saying “dont need no man.” Then cry because no man will commit to them. After seeing what their actions and attitudes are towrds men.
