What to say? I can say I was notified by .gov years back my SF 86 National Security Clearance form and all information was hacked, suspects unknown.

They gave me two years free credit monitoring , but that was a joke as anyone who has filled one out knows your entire life down to your dogs name is on it….internet sources at the time suspected China was behind it.

Point is, even this new Palantir data base will/ can be hacked into. Not very reassuring….under senile Joe’s Covid debacle , HR ( I was not taking the dangerous mRNA jab) informed me all anti- vaxers’ names were required to be reported to .gov….very concerning at the time.

We are headed down a very dark road.

This whole controversy is simply an attack on DOGE and fraud detection. They are not concerned about your data security. It’s a squirrel to keep you from noticing their grift.

I’m not terribly worried by this. Our gov’t has tons of data already, & a lot of it is wrong. Which allows for identity theft & other problems. I’d rather have clean records that are checked regularly & maintained properly. No duplicate voting records, no social security or medicare fraud, etc., etc. It can be done.

Just make sure there’s a death penalty for anyone - in gov’t or out - using the data for criminal means!

This has been shared on Twitter/X a lot.

An attorney chimed in and said this database is for tracking fraud within the Federal systems, things like non-citizens using other people’s Social Security numbers.

He pointed out the educational records and medical data cannot be included legally. If this is put in the records FedGov would lose in court because the law is clear.

That doesn’t mean someone won’t try in the future, but the law is clear about this.

I’m not a lawyer or paralegal, this is just what lawyers are saying.

Pretty files of your forefather’s fruit
And now to suit our great computer
You’re magnetic ink

The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated,

I think we're there here.

Are searches for terrorists reasonable? There are two ways to do that: Rely upon government, OR rely upon the unorganized militia. Trump has shown no preferences for the latter when it has come to arresting illegal aliens. Yes, a uniform database IS more "efficient," but it is also an enormous power likely to be abused.

Those Palantir employees sound like the murderers in prison who feel morally superior to and effect justice on child abusers.

This is one of the most dangerous things for Liberty and Freedom this Country has ever been faced with... Period.

But because the God Trump is doing it then it is completely acceptable. We will loyally follow even if it enslaves everyone of us and our next generations.

https://theamericanclassroom.substack.com/p/palantir-mass-surveillance-and-pre

If you think that Palantir will only be used to find illegals or reduce fraud in govt spending, you are seriously lacking in comprehension.

Not only does Palantir know your address...they know when you will be there, they know which bedroom you sleep in and probably what you wear to bed and how much you paid for it.

This is not some simple database. It is a compilation of data and analytics from credit card companies, open source data systems, banks, social media, technology companies, phone companies, power companies, facial biometric scans, etc..

It is an unimaginably powerful tool. The government saying they want to use Palantir “just for immigration enforcement” is like someone saying they want to buy a computer “just to play solitaire”.

Like with the Patriot Act, we are being fooled again. This will be used against normal conservatives as soon as another Democrat is in office.

Only Nixon could go to China
Only Trump could setup a panopticon to monitor every aspect of our lives.

Don’t say I didn’t warn you.

Just one more big cog in the ‘Beast System’.

I’m not a bit surprised at it happening.... But I am saddened at Trump’s embrace of it.

Just yesterday, My internet service provider demanded that I upload to them my “Real I.D. drivers license”, proof of my actual physical location, and my mother’s maiden name. I will not comply. So, I’ll likely be kicked off the internet soon. (My connection choices are very limited... what I use now, and Starlink.)
