I'm going to go out on a limb and say that this contractor was politically connected, did not do background checks or train its babysitters and makes an insanely large profit margin on the city contract as a result.

I think I’m starting to understand why 13% of the population accounts for 50% of the prison population. I think a lot of their ‘culture problem’ can be explained by the fact that 72% of black children have no father.
How ‘bout this for a solution: If the father IS present in the home, you get X dollars. If the father is NOT present, you get X - $500. Do you think mama would go after papa is there’s $6000/year on the table? Also, I’d make payments aggressively scaled downward for each additional illegitimate child a woman has. There was a woman in New Orleans several years ago who had 13 children and none had the same father. After welfare, housing, medical, and food subsidies, she was making more than I was working a full time teaching job. That’s not right.

Babysitter is not even charged with a crime.
I doubt that there even exists one purely white woman in this country named La’Keysha. When I was a kid in the 50’s and 60’s coloreds named their offspring regular names. It would be unusual today to see a black man named Dave, Tom, Steve, or a woman named Mary, Sue, Debby, or Cindy. I actually knew and went to school with blacks with those names. That’s how damned old I am.

Twenty years ago, you could pay your local “granny” to watch your kids. You would have known her for years since she was a Sunday school or grade school teacher before she retired. Government regulated those neighborhood babysitters out of business and now force you to pay unqualified deadbeats to watch your child.
