President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan said he would like to host a meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and U.S. President Donald Trump in Istanbul or Ankara, as he expressed his desire to make Istanbul the center of peace diplomacy.
Speaking to reporters after a cabinet meeting in the capital Ankara, Erdoğan hailed the recent talks between Russia and Ukraine.
"My greatest wish for both sides is to bring (Russia’s) President Vladimir Putin and (Ukraine’s Volodymyr) Zelenskyy together in Istanbul or Ankara — and even to bring (U.S. President) Mr. (Donald) Trump to their side, if they agree,” he said, adding that Türkiye would "take steps” to facilitate such a meeting.
He added that he would also join the leaders in the meeting, so that "we can turn Istanbul into a center for peace."
"Istanbul’s role in the Russia-Ukraine talks has been of critical importance. It became a turning point,” Erdoğan said, adding: "Despite yesterday’s incident, the fact that the meeting still took place is in itself a major success.”

No. Not with E-Dog involved. He brought Sharia back to the culture, stronger than it had been in decades.
This is the same Turkey that supports Pakistan against India and also supports Hamas against Israel. It’s almost like Erdogan is trying real hard to repeat the WW1 mistake that Turkey / Ottoman Empire made by joining the losing side.
Leave us out of it. That’s like forcing Trump to side with Ukraine IN EVERY WAY...even though he thinks Ukraine should relinquish the occupied land...aka...”to the Victor goes the spoils”...the way of the world since the beginning of time.
When I went to Vienna Erdoğan was giving a speech to local Turks. Then there was a counter demonstration by Kurds. Then all h&ll broke loose.
Turks started stabbing the Kurds, the regular Austrian police stepped back and vans of enormously large policemen came on the scene. These guys had to have been at least 6’10” and 300 lbs. or more.
They got out and body slammed some Turks and arrested dozens.
And we got this entertainment for free; people just stood around and watched it all unfold.
Erdogan wants the war to end so he can enlist Russia to join Turkey and Iran in an invasion of Israel through Syria.
