Have you considered that you simply don't hate the press enough? If you think you do, you might find yourself reconsidering after reading this latest story.
As RedState reported, a pro-Palestinian terrorist in Colorado threw Molotov cocktails at peaceful marchers as they silently remembered the hostages being held by Hamas. The attack took place in Boulder, injuring at least five people. Police arrested Mohamad Soliman at the scene, with videos showing him shouting "Palestine is free" and "end Zionists" as he attempted to burn innocent people alive.
In the aftermath of such an attack, you'd hope that press outlets would quell their partisan hysteria for at least a few hours. That's especially true for outlets like CNN, which spread a fake, Hamas-sourced blood libel on Sunday morning, falsely claiming Israeli tanks killed dozens of people at an aid distribution site.
So what did the network do? Within minutes of the attack taking place, CNN brought on Andrew McCabe and Juliette Kayyem to trash FBI Director Kash Patel and FBI Deputy Director Dan Bongino. What did that do to cause the former Obama officials to lash out? They dared to call the terrorist attack in Colorado a terrorist attack. No, I'm not kidding.
KAYYEM: "When the Boulder police chief comes out and says we don't have two plus two equaling four yet. In other words, this is obviously an anti-Semitic attack, and the victims were obviously part of that group. Therefore, we're not calling it terrorism. It adds a lot of, it's not, it's not good for the community. It's not good for the potentially targeted community. It makes law enforcement look disorganized, and it makes the FBI look so juvenile. Like, why are you getting ahead of the police chief who, who says, I don't know what this is?
It sounds, maybe it is what we all think it is, but maybe it's not. And he has no incentive to get it wrong. So, we're going to take a step back, not be responsive to tweets by two heads of the FBI who don't have a long history in local law enforcement, and we will wait and hope it isn't what we all worry it is, and if it is, then there'll be an investigation.
But that was, that's like nothing I'd ever seen before. You normally actually, Andrew knows this, you normally get the local people getting way ahead on motive, and the FBI saying we don't have it yet. You now have the opposite here. And until we know that the victims were members of that org, of the Jewish org, event, we don't have the nexus, and I will believe the Denver police chief that they do not have that nexus now, and if they do, I will be the first one out here saying that that is a hate crime. But until we do, we all need to, to not follow the FBI's tweets.
Keep in mind that at the time McCabe and Kayyem were making their statements, we already had video of the attacker shouting his motives. The idea that the Boulder police chief, who is no doubt a far-left individual given that city's radical leanings, didn't have "two plus two equaling four" regarding motive is simply false. It's asking people to ignore what the guy said on camera about why he carried out his heinous act.
To then say Patel and Bonigino are making the FBI look "juvenile" because they bothered to tell people the truth instead of doing the normal tip-toeing deference regarding Islamic terrorism is insane. Further, since when is the FBI expected to follow the lead of a local police chief? Especially one who is staring at the sky and insisting he doesn't know what color it is. That seems like a rather large moving of the goalposts, given the FBI typically takes the lead on terrorism cases once they arrive on the scene, and this event certainly qualifies.
Kayyem kept going, claiming that the FBI labeling the attack as terrorism made them look "confused" while again pretending that there wasn't overwhelming evidence, including an on-camera confession, regarding what occurred.
KAYYEM: And if you go out believing it's one thing, you are going to miss lots of other things. And so, the Boulder police chief was clear, we don't know if the victims were specifically attacked for their, you know, for who they were, and we don't know exactly who the perpetrator is. So, this is a really, not great for the FBI to get so far ahead that everyone is sort of now having to sort of unwind and then maybe rewind or, or, or state the same thing consistently in the future if it does turn out being terrorism.
But I want to just say two quick things on this. It's really a bad look overall, and I don't mean that politically. I just mean, like, people need law enforcement to work in a unified fashion to determine what happened, in particular, if this is a hate crime or terrorism directed towards the Jewish community, that, that community in particular needs law enforcement to not be in all different places and look, look confused.
What is this lunatic talking about? The FBI did not "look confused." On the contrary, Patel and Bongino were authoritative and clear in their pronouncement of this being an act of terrorism because that's clearly what it was. Kayyem going on to say it's a "really bad look" while acting as if she's not speaking politically is simply absurd. We all know exactly what she was trying to do in attacking the FBI. To the extent that the Boulder PD was unwilling to state what they already had evidence of is on them, not Patel and Bongino.
This kind of partisan garbage is why no one trusts the mainstream press. Why is CNN bringing on disgraced former FBI officials to act as "experts" on anything? McCabe and Kayyem are hacks, and no one should take anything they say seriously.
CNN: Jews Murdered. Journalists Most Affected.
And they wonder why their ratings suck.......................
Journalists must be dumber than the average American citizen.
Those two, along with the other MAGA hater, Frank Figliuzzi, at MSDNC need to be in a rubber room
BTTT
That’s ok because America trashes CNN for pretending to be a news source
“do not have that nexus now, and if they do, I will be the first one out here saying that that is a hate crime.” No probably like the 100 millionth or worse.
“And he has no incentive to get it wrong.” He has every incentive to get it wrong. What progressives have done to Colorado, on purpose, is heartbreaking.
There’s plenty to bash Kashed and Done about, but this ain’t it.
CNN ignored the fact that even BEFORE the FBI stated that this was a terrorist attack the colorado governor stated that this was a “targeted terror attack” and the colorado attorney general said it was a “hate crime” ...
CNN instead chose to focus exclusively on the moronic bozo “caught like a deer in a headlight” Boulder police chief who HAS to pretend that illegal aliens don’t cause crime in his sanctuary City of Boulder in order to keep his job ...
““And he has no incentive to get it wrong.” He has every incentive to get it wrong.”
absolutely: the moronic bozo “caught-like-a-deer-in-a-headlight” Boulder police chief who HAS to pretend that illegal aliens don’t cause crime in his sanctuary City of Boulder in order to keep his job ...
Sorry CNN, you need to start reporting that there are violent Muslims illegally in this country doing horrible things.
Should this Muslim anti-Semite be tried as a terrorist? Absolutely. Should he (if found guilty) be executed or sent to the worst hell hole on the planet to suffer each and every day? Again, absolutely.
