Just curious: when you say ‘outside animals’ that lay down in a water pan, what are you raising?
I used to give my Lab her own Kiddie Pool in the summer months. She loved it.
Thanks for the compliment. I’m a Vet and a Gardener, so I’m covered, LOL!
I’ve got fans going as well as the A/C. Right now it’s 88 degrees and the wind is really brisk - but it feels more like a Santa Anna wind, so not much relief. I got all my outside chores, mowing and making sure everyone had water with 10 minutes to spare! On to indoor tasks for the rest of the day. :)
Outdoor animals = raccoon families, 1 possum, the occasional groundhog, skunks, including some glorious white ones, a fox family with 2 kits, chipmunks, squirrels, and a massive variety of feathered friends.

I go thru 1 20lb bag of shelled peanuts a week out the library window.
Labs are the greatest! And vets are the best! We’re all eternally grateful to you.
I’ve tried dish pans of water but they just end up upside down. To refill, I’d have to try a kiddy pool in the front of the house instead of the back. Possible. Good idea.
