Everything went better than planned! They were all happy to get out and run around, and after I cleaned their kennels and refreshed their water buckets they were VERY happy to ‘kennel up!’ for their supper.
No one caused any problems - even Taylor, who I thought would be her usual b*tchy self, LOL! Having that last batch of puppies must’ve mellowed her out some. ;)
However, Emma Jolene (who is Beau’s only remaining Raccoon Dog and has her own Doggy Condo outside) has been complaining LONG and LOUDLY that Beau left her behind, yesterday. I’m resisting the temptation to tell her to ENJOY the time that Daddy’s gone off hunting - TIME is ALL OUR OWN around here for the next week. ;)
I’ve been giving ‘Jennifer Cooniston’ special treats of dog biscuits and apples, so she knows that ‘Mom’ is taking care of her this week. ;)
Since it’s Saturday Night that means a Dirty Martini, Laundry and a re-vamp of my To-Do List for tomorrow. Life Is Good! :)
Has anyone here had any luck with over-wintering Cannas? I know that the usual routine is to dig them up and try to keep them between 40 and 50 deg. F, without drying out the bulbs.
My catnip STILL has not germinated / sprouted. What the heck?
