Has anyone else seen them live? What did you think?
Just saw Jeff Lynne and ELO last year. Still great band, great music , great show. Their repertoire is so deep you can’t expect everything in the concert, but they play a lot of great songs.
They did a tour in the 70’s. ‘Spaceship’ took out a lot of seats. Tour lost money. They were pretty good.
I too saw Jeff Lynn’s ELO last fall in St. Louis. It was a great show.
I was sorta hoping they might add Roll Over Beethoven to the show since St Louis is Chuck Berry territory.
Saw them live in 1977 (as I recall). Had great seats and the sound was great but I wouldn’t call it one of the more inspirational concerns that I went to. Mind you some of the concerts I went to back then were so mind-blowing that everything else was just ok.
Saw them in Phoenix, Celebrity Theater. The stage was in the center and revolved around so every seat was a good seat. They were great!
1978, Melbourne Australia, best concert I’ve ever been to. They played for at least 3 hours before the encore and did a 40 minute encore⁰.

Cuz and I saw them when they first came out. Vegas at the Aladdin Theater. Best stage and light show I have seen yet on top of the great music. Especially for the era. ELO is “Sophisticated” rock... :)
Still listen to them a few times a week and have flashbacks of that stage performance.
I was there also, but the year before the farewell tour. I couldn’t make the Oct 2 concert in Denver. So bummed.
Saw them live twice—Philly and the Burgh. They were fantastic.
Saw them twice in DC. 2019 - 7th row center, 2024 - 5th row center.
