I would have to know what his criticism was with regards to supporting Israel, but I am more likely to disagree with him on that topic. The Oct. 7th attack is not defendable in my opinion.

The minds of the Palestinians needs to be swayed away from supporting Hamas by whatever means works, otherwise, the issue will never change and therefore, will never be resolved.

I took a peek back at the article, and it says; His argument rested on free speech grounds and did not mention antisemitism.

If that is the case, and the extent of it, then I agree with that belief.

A third Trump appointee with antisemitic ties, Ed Martin, recently had his bid for a senior U.S. prosecutor role withdrawn following Senate criticism. Martin had praised a neo-Nazi who stormed the Capitol on Jan. 6. Trump instead assigned Martin to a different Justice Department role overseeing extremism.

I noticed that NPR was using the same smear on Ed Martin.

America First, not Israel First. Trump is the POTUS. He is under no obligation to make appointments based on whether it is okay with another country.

Trump works for the American people.

It is interesting (and concerning) that PDJT has had so much difficulty (including in his first term) in selecting good assistants and appointees

There must be thousands of good, well- qualified people out here in the Hinterland .... who would be honored (even thrilled) to help out ...

Having to move to WashDC or live in a big, filthy city (where most other federal office buildings are) may be part of the problem.

Another part of the problem is, I believe, the application (and screening) process ... far too difficult, clumbsy, and intrusive ...

But.... can these things be changed, improved? Certainly, some of the top level adcisory or administrative staff could work from home...
