I saw Al Foster with Joe Henderson and Charlie Haden at a place called Caravan of Dreams in Fort Worth. Cool place, doesn't exist anymore.

That was December 1986. Yes, I can sometimes remember back that far.

I like this one, because it has some of my favorite people. Al Foster, David Murray, Don Pullen, Sonny Sharrock, Mark Egan. NOT Bill Cosby.

I have to remember, there were plenty other high quality jazz sax men besides Stan Getz. It’s good to find out about one of those artists. My jazz vocabulary is sort of limited.
