Well, since AI only retrieves data, and most data is created by humans, the AI answer is actually human derived as well. There are, as the old saying goes, many ways to skin a cat, which would be similar to removing a ceiling medallion as well.

As I like to remind people, AI is artificial, because it is not intelligence that was created by a machine. It's intelligence provided by a human from every aspect. 🤣

If you like #8, that's fine, but it's not the only solution. It actually depends on how it was applied to the ceiling. In most cases just the outer edge is actually affixed to the ceiling, with a bead of caulk around the edge. 🙂👍

I have actually done a lot of Renos... And unless it is two part mixed Epoxy, the heat makes it just simply peel from the surface of the paint, drywall, or even old school “Cardboard” tiles with slight prying pressure without damaging it much. Clear Silicone, Silicone White, Caulking, all the same...

The AI answer is wrong and the Human answer in #8 is correct.
