The police have almost no hiring standards these days, and probably half of them are dirty. The only saving grace is that they have to wear body cams.

And lucky for him the blackened bar of soap wasn’t out in the rain as in Woody Allen’s movie.

Dillinger escaped jail by using a bar of soap carved into a pistol and dyed black with shoe polish. At least that’s the story I read.
