I was not demeaning the contractor. The “service” I referred to was possibly a sexual advance which was rebuffed.

The service I was referring to was the inability of doing a simple repair job without managing to screw it up so horribly that the home owner needs to spend thousands of dollars fixing it.

The number of stab wounds would perhaps argue for that.

If the "contractor" was a hooker your viewpoint would be more likely.
