Oh, it was a legitimate foul as it is not the practice of NBA players, of both genders, to allow an easy layup. And the amount of violence in the foul has been allowed to increase historically as it wasn’t even considered a flagrant at the time of the instance. And they were inconsistent with that determination after the fact. Those types of fouls happen all the time in both leagues. Contact is a major part of the game now. The league should have just let it go by as normal play and players tempers.
