Mormon men used to be able to pick as many young girls to defile as they wanted too. Joseph Smith and Brigham Young were fanatics.

There is an entertaining LDS play titled, "Saturday's Warrior". I saw a live version, but it is available on video (or was a few years ago). I joined the LDS church on May 18, 1986, so today is an anniversary. The worldview you cite is more implied than explicit in the scriptures. The play is still entertaining.
