It happened off and on like 20 min ago to me
Cyber attack
I had problems with “X” earlier today, and had to reload with Google.
Then I got 2 emails from them saying to “change my password”. Phooey! I HATE passwords, which were supposed to be obsolete by now!
For several days I could not access X. Told me I needed a more current app.
I haven’t had any problems, knock on wood…
Open the breach block all the way.
The storm must have passed.

This happened to me as well. I got banned for life and never found out why.
No problem for me. Tried both with and without VPN on — works both ways.
Stay off the X websites. Those aren’t good for you. You may have a filter blocking from accessing them especially if you are underage. Stay away from the pron.
I asked Grok about x.com outages this morning.
“There are no reports of x.com outages this morning, May 17, 2025, based on available information. Downdetector and other outage tracking sources do not indicate any significant issues with X at this time. If you’re experiencing problems, it could be due to local network issues or device-specific problems. Try clearing your browser cache or checking your internet connection.”
LOL...the normal, all-purpose “clear your browser cache.” That comes right after “are you plugged in?” and “is your router / wifi on?” Next comes “Restart”
Cleared cache and cookies site permissions, etc
